That’s all, folks! The Lump Dog™ Kickstarter campaign is officially over, and we reached our funding goal. And all I can say is thank you, thank you, thank you! The backer report has so many names I recognize, and that means a lot to me.

As soon as the dust settles, the team will be back at work building the next pages of Lump Dog. We are creating something new, yet familiar, for sci-fi fans. (Trust me, that will make more sense eventually.) Thank you for being a part of that process.

Happy Tuesday, everyone! Here's a quick crowdfunding status report:

1) The campaign is 87% funded with just over a week to go! We have just over a week to hit the funding goal for the next issue of The Lump Sum Saga - Lump Dog.

2) The lenticular cover stickers arrived yesterday, and they look awesome! Be sure to follow @gregtjosvold on Instagram for more details on our awesome variant covers.

3) I've lowered the backer milestone thresholds needed to obtain free comic PDFs and a spin on The Wheel of Scarcity. This means some of the variant covers are going to end up with VERY low production totals!

I am super excited to tell everyone that my latest comic, Lump Dog™, is coming to Kickstarter on April 9th! This 44-page double-issue SciFi comic contains Chapters one to five of The Lump Sum Saga. 🚀

About Lump Dog™
After the death of her elderly owner, JoJo, an LWD (little white dog), finds herself trapped in her home without food or water. Just when she thinks she’s about to be rescued by her nemesis, The Mail Carrier, things go entirely sideways. She is struck and rendered unconscious by an alien probe, and it is revealed that rather than planning a rescue, The Mail Carrier is using the discovery of Grandma’s dead body as an excuse to rob the old woman’s home. I won't spoil things further than to quote the opening line: "New beginnings are often disguised as painful endings."

I am privileged to work with so many talented creators on this project. The team behind this issue consists of Sergi Domènech (artist), Josh Jensen (colorist), Sean Rinehart (letters), Lewelin Polanco (design), and Paul Allor (editor). I have also attracted some exciting and talented variant cover artists, but I'll reveal those at a later date.

Lump Dog™ is science-adjacent SciFi that asks, “What if aliens didn’t contact humans first?” This book helps lay the foundation for The Lump Sum Saga, a series that will ultimately be a cross between 100 Bullets and Spider-man (if the spider had a story).

Just reread this! ❤️ I love the use of the dog buttons. Also, a dog that plays VR games? Gimme, gimme! 🥲Super cute!

I just realized I hadn't posted anything about the end of the Kickstarter campaign. The campaign ended 274% funded with 167 backers! Thank you to everyone who helped make that happen. If you missed the campaign, there is still time to get your print copies and variants by going to our BackerKit store at: https://tlss.backerkit.com/hosted_preorders .
