Great news! I've been making packages all day every day since Saturday and today I reached halfway!! 🥳 83 packages are out or on their way including everyone with 4 sets, 2 sets, or a single set.
I'm now working on pledges for a single pin (with and without add ons). I should be able to move through these smaller packages a lot faster so I'm hoping to increase my speed from my ~20 packages per day to 30-40/day. Ideally I would like to finish shipping by Friday.
You should get an email when your package is on the way! I will make another update when I am totally done shipping and if you don't have an email by that update, please reach out to me so I can check on your status.
A lot of these orders are being shipped in reused packaging!! I use tons and tons of reused bubble mailers and boxes. My friends even save them for me for big projects like this so please don't be surprised when you see a tapped up Amazon bubbler arrive. I like to do my part to reuse as much packaging as possible rather than adding more to the stream. 🥰

Everything is carded and boxed! 🥳
That took 4 days and I didn't to much else so for the rest of today I'm working on some other tasks that I've been neglecting. Wednesday and Friday this week I have some personal obligations to attend. I will start shipping in earnest this weekend beginning with the larger orders and making my way to smaller ones.
It will take me 10-15 days to get everything shipped!
I am packing by myself, one order at a time, slowly and carefully so I can try to avoid errors. I should be able to average 10-20 packages per day once I get going. If at any point you need to know the status of your order feel free to reach out. I will update you all when I'm about halfway done and again when I have completed shipping.

Hey all! I'm aggressively putting pins on cards! I've been at it for hours. I have help!
There's a slight misalignment with the cards for Set 1. The sample was correct but the full run printed cards has our names slightly too high making it so the Moon Wand pin doesn't quite fit over the branding as it should.
The card on the left is the sample, and the card on the right shows the full print run.
Our solution for this is a slight change in the display with the Moon Wand angled. We considered having the cards remade but the delay in shipment would be too significant as our manufacturer is in Ukraine and shipping is incredibly delayed due to the ongoing conflict there.
New Set 1 Card
In addition, for some unknown reason, the boxes for Set 1 open from the top while the boxes for Set 2 slide out the bottom. 🤷♀️ Honestly at this point we're just going to roll with it for reasons formerly mentioned.

120lbs of pins arrived to my house today!! YAY! At first glance everything looks perfect. 🥰
By the end of next week I should have event shipping completed

Great news! 🎉
The gemstones have been fixed and manufacturing is complete! The pins are shipping this week and should arrive to me sometime next week. I am currently in bed on day three of my first round of covid. 🤧 Hopefully by the time the pins arrive I will feel much better and be ready to start making your packages!
As soon as I have a confirmed delivery date to me from the manufacturer I will be locking shipping addresses. Please keep an eye on your email so you can confirm your shipping address. Packages that are shipped to incorrect addresses will need to pay an additional shipping fee to have them resent so please make sure your information is up to date.

Hi. 🥹
The manu was supposed to ship everything today which is really exciting but unfortunately they sent me the last approval photos and 5 of the pins have the wrong gemstone color: Mirror, Jupiter, Mars, Venus, and Mercury.
I don't really know how this happened since we had full samples made and approved for all of these pins. It seems very careless on their part and I'm insisting they fix it. I do not know how long it will take to replace the gems on hundreds of pins or if they would just remake them; I am waiting for word from them about how long this will take.
In the meantime, we are still somehow possibly on track for my original delivery date of March 2023. Hey - in this world you gotta plan for things to go wildly wrong, right?
I will keep you all posted on the response from the manu. Fingers crossed it won't take too long to fix this glaring error.

There's nothing new to report as we're still waiting for the pins to ship. Everything else is ready to go! ⌚👀
The manu had hoped to have them out before CNY but I also told them not to rush because I'd rather they take their time and do them well instead of hustling and possibly having to remake them anyway. :P
Since CNY started this week I think it's likely we're looking at a mid to late February ship date from the manu. As soon as I have the pins I will start packing, grading as I go for speed. ⭐ This still has me on target for a March delivery to you as I expect it will take me about two and a half weeks to ship everything.
If you have friends who are interested in the pins we will have any remaining designs available after orders are filled. I'm estimating this will be in April or May. First they will go to members of my exclusive FB group AdorkaBows Select Bow-Peeks. After the group has a go at them I will put any remaining designs up on AdorkaBows.com. Check socials for updates and I will also make a post here! ♥
Amunet and I are already hard at work on our next design which will be a standalone pin. Hopefully next update I will have a little teaser for you. :3

Hey all! Lots of GREAT NEWS and progress! 🥳
The stickers are here! They came super fast and they look great. I set them aside on a shelf to wait patiently for everything else.
The boxes and backing cards shipped on December 7th and have been in the limbo state of "left Ukraine on a truck but didn't arrive anywhere with to scan them for tracking yet." HOWEVER today they reached Poland and were scanned for the first time!! This is FANTASTIC. From Poland they will finally get on a plane and should be here very quickly once they land in the US and pass through customs. ✈️
The final pin samples arrived today!! AND THEY LOOK AMAZING.

What's next? The pins are now all approved for full run manufacturing as the final changes we needed are simple enough to not require additional sampling. With the boxes en route and the stickers already here we will only be waiting for the final delivery of pins to come. We are approaching the new year during which many factories have extended down time for celebrations. We planned for this so it should not effect our original timeline. I will keep you posted when I have more news!

The gem for Saturn is still a bit too pink. We really wanted a cool purple. We will ask one more time about purple before reverting to white. The new size matches the rest of the set better.

Hey all! It's been a few weeks so I wanted to check in and keep you updated on the various states of the manufacturing process. 🥰
Boxes and Backing Cards The order for these from our supplier in Ukraine has been paid and is currently underway. Travel of items from Ukraine are understandably slow at this time so I wanted to get this order in as soon as possible to give them time to get here. I have paid for the fastest shipping rate which means once the boxes get out of Ukraine they will fly expeditiously to me. It's the getting out part that has been slow. Fingers all crossed the box(es) have a safe journey when they come!
Stickers Stickers have all been ordered! These are expected to arrive in early 2023 (January perhaps?)
Pin Sample Progress We have photos of the Talismans pins from the manufacturer and the metal shapes are looking good. I'm very happy to see that nice bevel on the Sword. 👀✨

The actually reflective mirror part of Mirror is having some delays as (apparently) the factory they get mirrors from is under Covid lockdown currently. 😫 My supplier is looking at alternative sources this week and I'm hoping for an update soon.
Gem colors have been a bit of an issue. We really want Mirror and Neptune to have a blue green gem but they have thus far only been able to show us light green and dark green (the dark is the same color that is on the Jupiter pin). We have sent requests and visual guides asking for the correct color but if they cannot get it, we may need to choose between the light and dark green options for Mirror and Neptune.
I might do a formal project poll to see which green the majority prefer if we are forced to go down this more green path. I have tried one more time with this image to see if I can get them to find a more suitable color. 🤞🏻
We also got photos of the updated samples for Saturn, Rose, and Key. The depth in Rose looks a lot better now and the defect from Key's mold has been fixed. Saturn is a touch smaller than the first sample to match the set better, though the gem is again the wrong color. We've asked for a purple gem for this pin but if they cannot get purple then we will use white.

That's an update on everything so far! We're moving along at more or less the expected pace with no major concerning delays so far. Once we finalize the gem issues and (hopefully) get mirrors in place these samples will be mailed to me for personal approval. After that we will be placing the final order for the full run of pins!
Because New Years celebrations are coming up, there may be a pause in manufacturing in January. This is already built into my expected timeline and should not effect my goal of having these pins to you in March 2023.

You may have noticed the project did not end at 8:59PM eastern last night. Uh - I got my time zones a bit mixed up. 😅 Glad you last minute people had a few extra hours to join us!! 🥰 Amunet and I are SO excited to be making these 16 new pin designs!!! Wow!!
All 16 Pin Designs
Here's what's happening next:
For the next ~2 weeks BackerKit will be collecting your pledges. If there's a problem with your payment you will have a chance to fix it so you don't lose your pledge and rewards.
After the funds have been collected we will run a sample test of the backer surveys. They will go out to a few people at each pledge level to make sure everything is working as intended. The surveys are done and ready to roll so as soon as the funds are collected and the testing is done they will go out to everyone.
My estimated date for surveys going out is the week of November 14th. This is later than I originally put on the timeline because I didn't realize they had to go out after funds were collected (right?? silly me). Be on the lookout for another update and emails about surveys and do them ASAP when you get them because surveys are how you choose your rewards! ⭐
Surveys will be open for about two weeks. After surveys close we will be locking orders. When orders are locked there will be a final payment for any unpaid add ons, shipping, and taxes (where applicable). I will be sending reminders/emails/social posts/updates when we are making this second charge so be on the lookout for that towards the end of November/early December. Reminder: I made a spreadsheet where you can check for the estimated shipping costs and taxes for you order.
Prototype manufacturing continues during this time! Amunet and I are working with the manufacturers right now to get samples made of all the new designs. Samples is an important part of the process to ensure the designs are being made to out specifications so there is less chance of delays or errors in final production. Be sure to look for future updates as we will keep you in the loop for all these fun behind the scenes steps!

She's finally here, the new pin design!
For this design Amunet and I combined shapes from the original star locket pocket watch with central design elements of the 90s anime locket to create a beautiful fusion. We also decided this lovely design needed to have a larger gem so we've increased the gem size to 7mm. The pin itself will be ~2.75"/7cm tall. 😲✨
HOW DO I GET THIS PIN?!
When you pledge for a single pin you can choose from any of the unlocked designs, including Locket. You will select which pin you want during the survey process after the campaign ends.
When you pledge for a set or multiple sets, you will need to add on the cost of one pin ($28) if you would like to include Locket in your rewards as it is not part of either set. You can then select the additional pin during the rewards survey when the campaign ends.
Tommodify your current pledge just change your pledge amount to $28 more than what's currently there and you'll be able to select the additional pin in the survey process!

We're still working towards unlocking the next Super Stretch Goal which according to our recent poll is going to be based on the star locket. 🌟 We need about 5 more backers to unlock this next pin so please take a moment today to share the project online somewhere and let people know about it! 🥰 Amunet will be working on this design soon and we hope to have something to show you next week.

And here are the designs! Amunet and I have worked really hard these last few days to finalize them and we're sooooo happy with them. We hope you love them, too! 🥰 Which is your fav?
We're getting these into prototyping ASAP though we might not have the samples before the project ends. But maybe!! We will also have some posts going up on socials soon with notes about the designs on these so please look forward to that. These pins are now selectable as individuals and as a set though it will be a little bit before we can get the project updated with the new assets.
From this point on, we are going to let you all decide what we're working on next! 👀 Please vote in the poll we've set up to vote on the designs you want to see.

Hey all! We've had a fantastic go at that first Super Stretch Goal and we're already within sight of unlocking the second set! 🥳
Amunet and I are working hard on the designs and can't wait to show you as soon as they are ready. We'll be putting them into physical sampling production ASAP so we can try to get the samples made before the campaign ends, though it will be a bit close.

If you want 1 to 4 pins from either set, use the 1 Pin Tier then add on additional pins as necessary up to 4. Continuing to add on individual pins will allow you to mix and match from sets, but do consider the price difference between this option and selecting a complete set.
The 1 Set Tier will get you all six pins in a single set. You can then add on additional pins through the add on to supplement the set. NOTE: Sets are FIXED. When the survey comes out for Set Tiers you will only be able to choose from Set 1 (Inners) or Set 2 (Outers). You will not have the option to choose individual pins unless you have chosen an add on to supplement the set.
If you wish to get one of each set, use the 2 Set Tier. You can also use this Tier to get two of the same set if you want to.
The 4 Set Tier will let you get any combination of the two sets up to four sets in total.
Individual stickers come with their individual pins and all Set Tiers come with a complete corresponding set of stickers. You can add on additional sets of stickers if you want more than what comes with the tier. There is no option to add on individual stickers.
You are not charged for your pledge until the campaign ends on October 28th at 11:59PM Pacific (8:59PM Eastern). Update your pledge now for the full amount of pins that you want to help us meet this goal! 🥰

Foil Cards & Box Unlocked! Second Pin Set COMING SOON!

Popping in to let you know that last night we passed $8k mark which means that foil cards and the box for the set have unlocked! 🥳✨
When you order a set of pins they now include:
6 die cast lapel pins with acrylic gemstones and two posts each
Custom backing card, matte black with silver foil print
Single pin orders come on smaller custom backing cards and include the matching sticker as well. There is no box for single pins.
This ALSO MEANS we've completed all of our regular stretch goals and we're now moving onto: Super Stretch Goals!!
Super Stretch Goal 1: A SECOND SET OF PINS!!
Many people have asked us about the other planets: Neptune, Uranus, Saturn, and yes - even Pluto! We are currently working on designs for these planetary symbol pins and we will have updates for you about them soon. The next set will consist of those four pins as well as two others that are still under wraps while we finalize the designs.
The second set of pins will unlock at $12k. Please take a moment today to share our campaign on any site or community where you feel people may enjoy it! This next stretch will be a bit longer and we need all the help we can get to spread the word.
PLEASE NOTE: These will be *completely new designs* from the earliest stages and we likely won't have time to have physical samples made before the end of the campaign. If you pledge for these pins please keep this in mind. ♥
We are also working on the math to figure out how to make it easier for you to expand your order if you want additional pin sets. Right now we have options for a single and double set but no easy way to get three or four sets yet.

Wow wow wow! You all really slammed it home for Amunet and I last night!! 🌟 Thank you SO MUCH for the big initial push! We're so excited to have funded these beautiful pins in just 1 hr and 50 min. You are incredible. ♥
Overnight the pledges kept rolling in and I woke up this morning to not just one but TWO stretch goals unlocked! And we hadn't even had a chance to announce them yet! 😱✨
UNLOCKED 🔓 STRETCH GOAL 1: Special Pin!
The Crystal Pin unlocked at $5.5k! This beautiful pin rounds out the set at 6 pins so if you've pledged for a full set, you automatically get this one! Crystal is also available as an individual pin reward.
UNLOCKED!🔓 STRETCH GOAL 2: Stickers!
Stickers unlocked at $6k! 😁 These silver satin finish stickers are printed on durable, high opacity adhesive vinyl. They are about the same size as the pins and can be used both indoors and outdoors because they are water resistant and UV-coated for durability. ✨💪🏻😤
Stickers are automatically added to all pledge levels. If you pledge for a set you get the full set of stickers, too! Individual pins will come with their corresponding sticker.
UP NEXT: 🔒 STRETCH GOAL 3: Display Cards and Boxes for Sets!
The next Stretch Goal we're working towards now unlocks at $8k! This goal will give us these beautiful foil display cards featuring more lovely line work by AmunetGFX as well as boxes for people who pledge for the complete set.
Individual pins will come mounted on individual cards and sets will come mounted on a larger card inside the collector's edition, fabric lined box. All the printing on these cards is a shimmery silver metallic that really pops on the matte black of the heavy cardstock. 😍✨
