Any idea or hints as to when we can expect any new news on more stretch goals?

As someone with an already large Munchkin collection that's stretched across four Monster Boxes as it is - I'm super happy to see that this campaign comes with 14 card dividers - As I've always had trouble finding dividers that fit the Monster Box (it has thinner openings than most card boxes, so most dividers wind up being too wide to fit in it) If you threw in more dividers as a stretch goal, or even a paid add-on, I would not object, lol. And I would be remiss if I didn't say that before the campaign was out. Honestly I think a lot of people are sleeping on the less flashy quality of life items that come in this set. I look forward to finally having dividers that will fit my monster boxes and would love an option to buy more. I also love that this box includes a consolidated rulebook. Will the rulebook only cover what comes in the box?? Or will it also cover rule concepts introduced in other munchkin expansions not ? (Steeds for instance - From Munchkin 4 - Which is not in this box. So will the rulebook cover Steeds? I'd love it if the rulebook covered ALL things Munchkin, even beyond what's in the box)

Project Update: 50 All-New Cards Exclusive to Munchkin Big Box - Let's Talk About A Few!

Hey everyone!

We asked both Steve and John about what they most enjoyed while working on the 50 brand-new cards in the Munchkin Big Box.

Wouldn’t you know it, they had different answers!

One new card immediately came to mind for John. “Two-Handed Axe literally made me snort-laugh, when I was looking through the cards just now,” he said. “It’s not my favorite drawing – let’s go with Orangutangle or Hold Everything for that – but a reminder of how much I enjoy any chance I get to work with Steve on a set. Just a delightfully twisted card that only he could come up with.”

John said that even after drawing more than 7,500 cards over 25 years, "Munchkin remains a joy and a privilege to illustrate.”

Steve said, “I was tasked to write 50 brand new cards for John to illustrate. That was a chore, but the best kind. Of those 50, to just pick a few . . .

  • Cthoo-Loo – This was a present for John. He loves drawing Cthulhu and he loves drawing toilets. There you go!

  • Palindromedary - Just because it’s so stupid.

  • Cimim - Why has no one ever done this before?

  • Named - Just to add a bit of metagame!”

Both Steve and John have a lot of fun with Munchkin even after so many years, and it shows. We can’t wait for you to see the rest of the 50 new cards in their full glory when the Munchkin Big Box arrives at your door.

Did you know that John stopped by on launch day to celebrate and answer some questions on our live stream? Check it out!

Thank you!

Would love to see the old Munchkin Pawns be reprinted (especially the female pawns which have been the most impossible to find for a decade.) Any chance you could reprint some of the old Munchkin Pawns with this campaign, or even release new ones? I've seen a lot of folks looking for these over the years.

May have been posted, but someone mentioned wanting more dividers. I would personally prefer to have more dividers than 45 blank cards a stretch goal. That gets around the bigger dice concern the devs have. Doubt the cost would be much different, throw us 20 dividers instead of 45 blanks or something?

Like a duck of pledging. . . Oh a fledgling of pledging? (obviously duck of doom but specific to this backing) or some other fun small plush. Idk just a thought :)

Dear co-backers, If you agree with the following below, please leave a like and a comment to make this message more visible to Cephalofair. Dear Cephalofair, I urge you, for the benefit of yourself as a company and of all 35 thousand backers, to increase the frequency of your communication during phases of fulfillment. While bi-weekly is often sufficient for sharing development of a new or improved product, it definitely is not during times in which many people are about to receive a product for which they potentially paid a lot of money. Managing expectations of that many people is never easy and you will never please everyone. However, considering you managed to crowdfund 5 million dollars, you are expected to manage expectations within the possibilities that you have or should have. Spending enough resources on communication is one of those. Many people are crying out for news, even if it were: there was a delay at this and that part of the fulfillment chain. Your current way and especially frequency of communication appears to be not sufficient, hence all those backers posting comments here on Backerkit. I am certain the influx of questions asking about fulfillment, soon to arrive or just arrived products would be a lot less here on Backerkit and in your mailbox, were you to proactively communicate more frequently. And I am sure you would want less questions to answer, hence hints like: "Please do not contact support asking where your product is until we have reported that your region has been fully delivered for the wave that you are concerned about." You are being stampeded with questions, messages and negative feedback, mostly because of your own doing. Start investing in improving. Haven games are a lot of fun, but consider that running a business like this could lead to less people being interested in buying your products. And since there is a lot of fan-made content, why spend more money on a company that does not appear to be willing to invest more in communication with the people that invest money in them? I hope for you and us all it doesn't come to that. Start improving.
