Project Update: jazz the BPD kitty UNLOCKED! + final backer's choice poll
Here is Jazz's ref sheet and fabric swatches!!
Since xer pattern is complex, the dark color will most likely be sublimation printed on top of the purple in some spots. I have used sublimation printing on this type of fabric before and I like the results! It is true that the color will not go all the way down to the bottom of the fur pile, so you will still see some of the purple if you brush the fur one way or the other, but overall on this fabric, it does not change the texture of it and has a clean appearance. I think this will avoid there being too much embroidery on the plush as otherwise there'd have to be an embroidered line around all xer spots. We'll go forward with printing for the first sample and see how it looks, and go from there! I'm really excited about the patchwork paws and this color combo :3
Hopefully I should have reports about all the samples in the works in the next few days too! I'll keep everyone up to date :D

Project Update: Prototypes are FINISHED! 🎉🎉🎉 Preorder store closes on April 30th!
I just received the final prototype pictures last night and with that the last few stragglers are finally finished. I'm missing a front-view of Grimshroud but will update soon once these guys reach me and I can get some professional photos.
The bug friends and juice pouch are all finished up too! Beetle friend took the longest and was quite the struggle, but ultimately I think they turned out awesome.
The preorder store has been updated with all the photos here, and as soon as they reach me I'll get some more color accurate photos in front of a nice, white backdrop to match everyone else.
Now that prototyping is finished, I can comfortable set a closure date for the preorder store, hooray!
The preorder store will close on April 30th.
After the 30th we will be going directly into production! I'll be gathering a final count for each design, adding a few hundred extra to each one, and sending that information to my manufacturer to get the ball rolling. The lead time on this kind of thing is usually about 30-45 days, but I suspect it might take a bit longer in our case with a preliminary count of 15000 plushies already!!
Either way I promise to keep you folks informed every step of the way 💖
To summarize:
- Preorder store closes on April 30th. Cards will also be charged on or around this date if you have an outstanding balance.
- All surveys and orders will also lock after the 30th. Once locked you will no longer be able to add, edit or remove items so if you need any help with this please reach out to me asap.
- I cannot offer refunds after the 30th. Once I send the final plush count to my manufacturer, I'm locked in to purchase that amount and can no longer offer refunds.
- You WILL still be able to edit your address. Addresses will not lock until about two weeks before plushies ship, after an email prompting you to make sure its up-to-date.

Project Update: Survey Out Now. Please Check your Email for Details
It seems there's about 1000 of you who have yet to fill out your surveys. If you haven't seen anything, look for an email from Backerkit. If you have yet to see anything, well, honestly I don't know how to deal with that at the moment since I don't think Backerkit has a direct messaging system in place? Maybe it does but I'll look into it.
But if you used an email to pledge the campaign, that email will be the one with the survey in it. If you put in a random email, you won't get the survey, and thus, won't get your rewards.
I'll look into direct messaging and get back to you.

Project Update: 🐱UNLOCKED: Espresso Kitten Keychains!
I have added the espresso shot keychain pledge levels and add ons! You can add them on to your existing pledge, or if you haven’t pledged yet, just get one or all three of the keychains!
One keychain is $15, while all three are $37! We have three hours left in the campaign, so be sure to add your keychains while you can!

Project Update: Survey: SMOKE TEST OUT!
So didn't get things cleared till this morning, holiday for backerkits reviewers perhaps, but here we are!
We just sent out the smoke test! Give us a few hours to see how it goes, and if all goes well, we will send out the rest of the surveys this afternoon!!!

Project Update: Kawaii Kitsune Plushies are now available as add ons!
The Kawaii Kitsune Plushies Collection is now available as add ons!
They are discounted compared to what I sell them for and will ship at the same time the Kawaii Dragon plushies will ship in Fall of 2024!
They will also be limited in quantity! I unfortunately cannot put a quantity cap on the add ons so I will monitor them and discontinue based on available stock I have of them.
There's 14 of them in total!
I am doing this to help get us funded more and so those who want plushies from this collection can save on shipping as well and get them shipped together with the Kawaii Dragon plushies!
Project Update: Last Stretch Goal Reached! Bonus Goal Added!
With 2 more weeks left in the campaign and all the stretch goals unlocked, I've decided to add just one more bonus goal: Harlequin! Harlequin is a monochrome colorway with diamond patterned ribbons! It'll be unlocked for the campaign survey selection if we are able to reach $15,600.
Regardless of if this last bonus goal is reached, I'll be producing a sample of the Harlequin colorway. But if the goal is reached, it'll help me fund the full bulk order right from the start with the other colorways and will be able to be selected with the campaign survey.
Once more, thank you to everyone who has pledged or shared this campaign with their friends. Seeing a project I've been developing for so long reach this level of success has really been emotional for me. I'm looking forward to seeing where things are at the end. Thank you!
