Thank you all so much for helping fund production and printing of PERFECT CRIME PARTY! 630 lovely criminal accomplices have jumped aboard the train to help make that happen! 🎉 September has just gone and blown away into October, it's hard to believe we're already at the end of the first week! Before any more time gets away from us I wanted to give a summary of where we're at:
This is our 43rd project to date, and we're so happy that you're all here to sink your teeth into the perfect crime! Thanks to all 630 of you, we were even able to make our goal of giving our artists a pay bump as well!
The funds from the backing will be collected some time over the next 3-4 weeks, so you will want to make sure the amount you pledged is available in your accounts shortly in order to receive your rewards without any hiccups. If your funding fails for some reason, we can attempt again if an email is forwarded to us at [email protected]. Just let us know if you have any issues!
Once the funds have been collected, a survey will be going out some time after to ask you for your shipping information. We'll make an announcement when that happens of course to nudge you to check for yours. If you've been here before you know what to do! If your address changes after you have already locked in the address, send us a message to the email above as well. You should have plenty of time to get that done, and we'll let you know here when the time to fill the survey is coming to an end.
Periodic updates for where we're at in the production process will be posted here when available. I try to make it at least once per month or when an important update is necessary, so stay tuned!

Christophor here, helping Dan out with the first of what will be a series of crowdfunds for War Party Party. There's loads of great content coming your way and Dan is busy working on the books. I believe he told me book #2 is done and he's already on #3.
But first, we need to get this project funded so we can start the ball rolling and kick the series off the right way. We're 19% of the way after the first day! We just need to get more eyes on as well as everyone following to get their pledges in! If you can make your pledge and then share it out to your friends on social media it would really help the campaign snowball toward success!
On my end, I'll talk with Dan about getting some updates and new art previews directly from him in the coming days. I told Dan that the first campaign is always the toughest and that we just need to be continuously working to expand the audience and bring in pledges to get things done. But we can always use all the help we can get from you!

We at Iron Circus would once again like to express our gratitude for you backing this title. This is our thirty-seventh project, and we're already on to several more thanks to you helping us fund this one. I, myself, hope that you enjoy this book. I really adore some of the themes that we have going on in this anthology and I think that a lot of you may find some inspiration to try something new or try again at something you've already given up on before from the stories you read here. Failure To Launch feel even more appropriate to the world we're living in right now than when we were looking to fund it, and I think we all share that mutual feeling of being stuck in one way or another. If this is a push in the direction you need to step outside of your comfort zone and give something you're passionate about a shot, even if you fail, we'll consider this a success! I just wanted to thank you all for your recent donations and wanted to inform you that the first issue of Shark with a Shotgun is marching ever forward. The art team shared with me the most recently finished line art for the latest page and I wanted to share it with you all.
i haven't heard back from the printer yet (my contact is out sick, just hoping he'll recover quickly!) but i think i've decided that if there aren't enough results in the poll to break a tie i might create something else to send, like a CD of songs that inspired this arc! or a home-made patch! part of the reasoning here is because i'm operating with a /very/ slim-to-none profit margin, so the more things i have to outsource to, say, a pog company the less i have to pay bills with. i know a number like the raised amount looks big! but truly, it's not!! the vast majority of it is going RIGHT to the printer, with a small amount saved for sticker sheets and prints and other goodies.
speaking of sticker sheets, i've got the rough sketches for art below for backers to peruse. just sketches right now, but that'll be changing shortly enough!
if you've been talking up the campaign on your social media, btw, please let me know! i'd love to sketch you something of your choosing for helping me out. here's a kyo and a dragon i drew for folks so far.

We're expecting the books to reach our warehouse in a couple of weeks, and the rest of the stretch goal and reward items should arrive around that same time. We're still aiming to be ready to start shipping in November!

You will find all of the links and instructions on your personal Backerkit page (which you can access at https://aster-of-pan-the-source-by-merwan.backerkit.com/). Once logged in, you should see a big blue button in the middle of the page that says "Get Your Digital Downloads" -- click on that to see your personal links for each item ordered.
While the soundtrack, wallpapers, and sketchbook are stored directly on Backerkit, the books themselves are hosted by Gumroad -- you will have to follow the (simple) instructions to use your unique codes to download your files from Gumroad for free. 😊
