Wondering where your pledges are? Look no further!
Χβ°ββ€ I recieved the Rainbowtail remakes a couple days ago and have shipped out 80% of packages! Χβ°ββ€ The other 20% are in progress and will be fully sent out by next Friday (the 15th)!
Here's some photos of the chaos that was the order packing process lmao.
With that said- some of you are already recieving your pledges and I'm happy to hear it! For anyone who wants to share photos, I recently revamped my discord to have a channel for reviews!!
Inside my discord is not only a reviews channel BUT there are:
Χβ°ββ€ Free monthly 10% off Etsy coupons Χβ°ββ€ Sneak peeks into upcoming merch Χβ°ββ€First look into my next crowdfunding campaigns Χβ°ββ€Early dibs on new merch going up on Etsy!
and much more! I look forward to seeing you there!!
If you haven't checked it out yet, now's your chance! Returning backers receive a free exclusive sticker, we're EXTREMELY close to the free enamel pins that unlock at $5,000 pledged, and we're close to unlocking some other freebies!
Some designs are still currently in the process of being finalized- but the general gist of how they're going to look are currently available! I just posted the final designs for Moonpaw, Tawnypelt, and Leafstar a little bit ago, so here's a sneak peek!
I am still going super strong for this campaign- yes we've dropped some backers but I KNOW we will unlock those locked stretch goals again and push to get EVERYTHING unlocked!
Also- here's a sneak peek of Scourge's design :>
Thank you guys so much in advance! Please reach out to me with any questions, comments or concerns here or in my discord!
We're excited to announce that all of the Phoenix pins have arrived! We will be beginning fulfillment over the next week or so as we'll be going through the batch of pins and making sure we only send out the very best.
All the Phoenixes hanging out in the library before heading to you!
Overall, we're happy with the production of the pins, but our manufacturer did have some trouble getting the blue glass ring around the miniature pin due to the sizing. It still came out super cute though!
We're waiting on one more piece before we start shipping, but that should arrive in the next day or two. We found some pretty fun colored bubble mailers, so expect your Phoenix to arrive in style.
Also, if you haven't had the chance to check it out, we'll be running another campaign during Pintopia 2025. We have a few fun cross-collabs during Pintopia, so if you'd like to get even more Phoenixes (and Cecil!) check it out!
First of all, holy smokes! You guys blew this out of the water. Iβve already gotten sappy enough in past updates but thank you all so much! You have no idea how much I appreciate the support.
So now what? You have 2 weeks to fix any failed payment methods or issues! After that the surveys will go out! Surveys will close on December 1st. The survey will give you the option to let me know if you want to be charged immediately or when the survey closes. As I know a few people on my last survey wanted to be charged immediately for budget reasons and others wanted to wait until the survey closed to get paid!
After that the pins will go into production! I will be out of town for most of the survey. But Iβll still do my best to respond to emails ([email protected])! Please note, I donβt always see/get notifications for comments left on the page. The fastest way to reach me is on discord. https://discord.gg/rPPf4NUejw
As for where Iβll be? Twin cities con, Anime Dallas, Anime Frontier, and Anime Weekend Atlanta! If you end up at one of those cons come say hi to me! And preemptive apologies if I look tired or out of it. My autoimmune makes conventions a little exhausting but I love to meet yall and itβs always so exciting when someone tells me they follow me on socials/kickstarter. Gives me a bit of imposter syndrome too lol.
Itβs hard to predict when the pins will be done as thereβs several holidays between now and next year, however I tried to plan accordingly in the original timeline. So keep an eye out for that!
Hey everyone, checking in with a few quick updates on fulfillment.
The good news - most backer rewards will be shipped by the end of the week. Keep an eye on your inboxes and mailboxes!
The bad news - I noticed issues with a couple of the acrylic pin designs while packaging. The printing and cuts are exactly as they should be, but the pinbacks on two designs were placed in unideal spots. The "Pottery" pins pinback is partially placed over the cutout under the character's arm, making the metal visible from the front. The "Electronics" acrylic pins had a singular pinback placed off to one side, causing a significant balance issue with the pins.
I'm not comfortable sending either of these pins out like this, so I've reached out to my acrylic pin manufacturer to get replacements made ASAP. There will be a couple weeks shipping delay for any backers who ordered these items. Please reach out to me if you ordered either of these pins and would like to swap them out for a different design(s) for faster fulfillment.
It's been a while since the last update! I want to start by saying that manufacturing is wrapping up and the project is still fully on track according to the original timeline, meaning that orders will lock sometime around the end of February and fulfillment will begin in March. So, for those of you who just want that solid info, you can stop reading here and wait for the next update about quality check and fulfillment updates.
If you're curious about some of the finer details, and want to see a sneak peek of the pins (plus a surprise!), keep reading!
I want to extend my apologies on the lateness of this update. Basically, I've been trying to get some conclusive answers on how the tariff and shipping changes in the US are going to affect this project. Since the trade situation of the US keeps changing so rapidly, however, the concrete effects have proven very difficult to pin down. At this stage, I am expecting there to be minimal impact as manufactured items arrive in the coming weeks. Of course, this could all change at a moment's notice. What is more or less confirmed is that I have enough of a margin built into this project to deal with any additional tariffs that might hit me, so fulfillment isn't at risk -- it's more of a question of how complicated and/or expensive it's going to be for me to actually receive the pins and other items.
And, as manufacturing is almost complete, I have some sneak peek photos to share with you all! Please note that these pictures are from the manufacturer, so they're not staged or lit for product photos -- I'll get better pictures once I have the pins on hand.
Cottage pin, looking nice and abandoned!
Freebie mini pin!
Look at all the writers in the Tudor mansion!
And, the suprise: they glow in the dark!
Glow!
The ghosts on every pin have a glow-in-the-dark effect on the enamel, meaning that they react to UV light (blacklight) and glow in the dark. So, just like my bottled ghost pins before, these guys are going to give off a ghostly glow in dark or blacklit rooms. I'm personally really hyped for how they're looking with the glow. I can't wait to get these pins on-hand so I can set up some interesting photo shoots!
That's all this time! You can expect the next update in a couple of weeks, toward the end of the month, hopefully with more photos and some more details on the fulfillment process.
As always, thank you all very much for your support and patience. None of this would be possible without you, and I'm truly grateful to me making these pins real -- even with the impending US trade war throwing wrenches into the process. Tariffs or no tariffs, these pins are looking fantastic, and I can't wait for you all to add them to your collection.
Hi everyone, sorry for the radio silence! (I've been occupied with Pintopia, which has been a rough ride.) I've charged cards (finally) and will start packing orders as soon as I receive the funds from Stripe. Remember to correct your payment if it's declined, otherwise, I can't get your pins to you!
As for future projects, I'm working on a smaller-scale Kickstarter (which will be linked when I finish the page) that will feature Monster Hunter-themed keychains! Pintopia ends later today, so go back that project if you can!
Pretty short update this time, but that's because it's nothing but good news! Fulfilment has begun, with the first 114 pledges labelled and packed as of today. They'll be headed to our freight forwarder tomorrow afternoon, and will be on their way to you right away. You should be able to check in your BackerKit account to find your tracking number so you can watch your reward's progress as it moves across the world to you :)
We've also just finished our latest campaign for Fey Friends, and we're officially going to be making plushies! The pre-order store will be up in a couple of weeks, and we'll create an update for that when it is.
Last up is the next campaign on the horizon, and it's one that we're incredibly excited about - Familiar Tales, a TTRPG about small creatures having big adventures! This is our own creation, along with the system that it runs in, Quill. This game is inspired by media like Redwall, The Chronicles of Narnia, The Wind in the Willows, Charlottes Web, and other similar books and films. The game is simple to get into, with a core concept of 5 minutes of character creation, 10 minutes of prep, and hours of play!
We'd love for you to check it out if that sounds interesting at all! We think there's something there for every roleplayer, and the system we are including is so easy to pick up you'll be playing as soon as the book hits the table. Please check it out HERE
I just wanted to update and say some orders will ship really early! Iβve received most of the items (not all) and figured Iβd start getting some smaller orders out the door. Probably starting with single pin orders of the Fox! Iβm still working on painting all the Enamel pin boards for the helluva portrait campaign so those are taking top priority. The process will still be a bit slow. I started a new autoimmune med and itβs kicking my ass lol.
If you address changes between when I lock it and when I ship please email me ([email protected]) or message me on discord/instagram! Iβll get it updated.
Hello folks! The backing cards I ordered finally came in - they turned out great and I'm super excited to have something a bit more custom for this round of pins! I've included a photo of the backing card with a pin - they're not too complicated, but I'm super excited about them. My goal is to have about a quarter of packages out early next week; you should receive an e-mail once your package is mailed.
I'm a little obsessed with this pin so it's my example for everything π
If anyone has any questions, let me know - my e-mail is [email protected], but feel free to comment here as well, or reach out on instagram/facebook.
I also wanted to give a last call for Popsicle Panic! In about 24 hours, the campaign will end - I'm hoping we can make it back up to 3.9k so that I can give the 3D printed freebie to all backers :) We're about $500 away at the moment - even if you share the project with others that would be wonderful π
This is a 3d representation of what the figure will look like - it'll be printed with tri-color filament and while it won't look identical to this, it'll look similar and have a color shiftiness as you change its angle. They'll be about 3" tall and be able to hold a photo or piece of paper in the popsicle stick!
This was my first time fully sculpting something and it was so much fun!! I think I want to do more!
We come to you with an update containing news both good, and less than good (but still probably ok?) Without any ado at all, let's dive in.
Starting with Something Fun!
We're finished with the Froggo Familiars! So, so much painting. We thought you might like a preview of your little friends (and their tiny butts!)
We hope that you like them, we think they're adorable. They'll be heading off very shortly to join your coven and we've mostly housetrained them, so you know, good luck!
The... Less Than Good...
Shipping across the Canada US border has never been super duper simple, but this week it got a lot harder. There's a lot of complicated stuff happening, but just boiling it down to it's most salient, there were a bunch of agreements and trade rules that existed to make shipping small things, or small dollar value of things, across the border pretty seamless. Someone came in and knocked over that carefully constructed Jenga tower of trade a couple of weeks back, and in doing so erased, overnight, all the ways we get things across the border. Now everything need to be stickered with country of origin no matter what the dollar value, everything goes through customs, and everything is subject to tariffs, customs fees, and taxes no matter what it is.
In addition, we're likely going to have to eat those fees in shipping, which honestly sucks. We won't be asking anyone for any extra money for this shipment, because there was no way for anybody to know, and we don't think you folks should be penalized for supporting us.
Obviously this has made things incredibly challenging. Our normal freight forwarder and broker has actually shut down this week in order to try and sort it out -
We are hoping they do manage to get reopened next week, because we've already started packaging everyone's rewards for fulfilment x( We'd really like to get them to you all as quickly as possible. As soon as things open back up again they'll be on their way, until then unfortunately we're stuck with the upending of decades of trade agreements and the fallout from that. One way or another we'll keep you updated, and one way or another we'll get things to you all.
One Last Fun Thing!
Can't end on a sour note! We have the next sample ready for our plushie campaign running right now (which you can visit and back by going HERE! Check out the GlimmerGoat! Oooooh, so glimmery!
This is the second of three plushies that you can pick up by backing the Fey Friends campaign, part of the Pin and Plush Pintopia 3. As always, we're partnered with the amazing Austin Hartell at Dungeon Artist, who is running a campaign full of stained glass monsters. You can check him out HERE! Back us both and receive 2, YES 2! FREE pins!!
Thank You <3
As always folks, thanks for sticking with us. We appreciate your support more than we can say, and we'll figure out how to move forward from here together. We're stronger together than apart, and nothing is going to keep us down. That we can guarantee.
