GERTIE GUMBALL
Gertie Gumball
We are onto prototype number 2! I think she looks like a giraffe now, for sure! I'm amazed at how quickly and efficiently our designer works. She is a genius!
There are a few minor things to change. We are still working on the hooves. The embroidery for the toes could line up better, but I worry about it during mass production. I asked if we could just use sewing thread instead. This is what the other critters like Bella and Batty have! We're also working on the overall shape of the hooves. I'm aiming for something like this:
Hoof example
It sounds like the designer thinks it is feasible. She was going to sew up a little hoof-- just the hoof-- so I can see if it looks good or not. We'll probably see that Monday or Tuesday!
The embroidery around the nostrils were brown, too. They should be pink. That was my fault, though. Our internet was out and I hadn't noticed this when they showed me the embroidery before sewing her up. I felt really bad.
But they're going to fix it! :3
It's really just small things at this point. Gertie is definitely almost done, so rejoice Gertie fans! (I think they're starting London next! He isn't much different from Catsie or Bella, so I think they'll finish him up super quick. I'm so excited to see him)
MADAME MACARON
Madame Macaron
I've made some updates to Madame's reference. They didn't believe the embroidery on the wings would be feasible, so I removed it. I think it will be ok! She is going to be adorable regardless.
I also managed to make her face look a little more similar to her original art. Hopefully they can capture her face in 3D form! I'm interested to see how the mouth peanut is going to look haha.
Questions asked:
Q: Will she have bottom wings (4 in total)? A: No, she will only have the two for simplicity-sake.
Q: Will her wings be printed? A: No! They will be 3 different colors stitched together (hopefully)!
Q: Will she have paw pads? A: No. I feel like it clutters her design and looks strange. I think it is best if she is like Nessie and has no paw pads~!
COLORING PAGES

I was only technically supposed to do one coloring page to send out, but I ended up doing more! I couldn't help myself. I'd love to make even more and be able to put together aw hole book at some point, but for now this is what I got!
I am working on sending them out to backers (I have hit a roadblock for the $3 tier but I am working it out!), but they're also available on my Kofi!
As surveys roll in, we'd like to give everyone notice that we're locking orders. This means you won't be able to edit your pledge in 48 hours! So if you wanted to add anything else or had second thoughts about something you've purchased, now is your last chance to edit things.
On that note, we want to clarify something about the Hyrax in the Rocks game: The game will only be for windows! If you have a mac, it will not be able to run the game! If you purchased the game and do not have a windows, please edit your pledge now to remove the game. We're sorry for the inconvenience! The complications with making it compatible isn't something we can guarantee we'll be able to pull off at this time. If it's something we can do in the future, you'll have the opportunity to get a mac version on the public release!

We made it to $5,000! Here is the second enamel pin design reveal, the hummingbird moth dragon! This pin will be around 1.75-2". I'm still finalizing all sizes for all the pins, I will have the sizes set once all the designs are done. This pin will also have translucent white wings.
I went ahead and added the option to include the moth dragon plushie to your pledge! If we get over 10k in funding there will be more designs to choose from, I hope to introduce all three dragonpillars as full moth dragons!
Today's update features sample updates with revision notes sent to our manufacturer on Mumble, Gruff, and Mishmash!
Mumble
Minor adjustments are being made to Mumble as shown above such as adding the missing notch in Mumble's ear, adjusting placements, and extending embroidery.
Gruff
We're unfortunately unable to have removable teeth with Gruff so he is going to have a silly zipper mouth with a roll-up tongue instead! You will be able to store small items in his mouth (yippie!).
Mishmash
Mishmash's initial sample was made before our manufacturer Grimsley got there. His cute little head will be adjusted to match the other plushies. As a reminder, Mishmash is poseable so he can be both cute and floppy when he's traveling with you but can also be posed to sit like the other Hurtsies.
A final note: Our manufacturer (who has been so supportive and in constant communication with us) will be sending Loppy a swatch book with the samples so Loppy can make color adjustments before bulk plushies are made to eliminate any worry about factory lighting discrepancies.
A Note on Critiques: We to take another moment to remind folks if providing feedback please provide constructive feedback (theoretical examples of what not to do: this plushie looks awful, can you go back to your old manufacturer, it's ugly, etc, etc).
Survey and Pre-Order Store Reminder: Thank you for your patience on the survey and pre-order store! If you missed our last update, we have not sent out surveys yet because we want to make sure the samples are perfected so you, our backers, have the most informed design when selecting which Hurtsie you want.
Loppy still feels confident we are very close to have final samples soon which means we will then be able to announce when surveys will be sent out and when the pre-order store will open!
