After speaking with our manufacturing partner and explaining our situation, we will be able to offer the matching zippered pouches at a lower Stretch Goal amount of $10,000. This is great news for backers! However, they increased the price per unit on the organizers AND the pouches because we are ordering a much smaller minimum order quantity than we forecasted before launching the campaign. But no worries, this is an extra cost we will absorb on our end.

Basically, before we launched the project we based a forecast on the previous organizer campaign and were confident we can probably order thousands of organizers but we are now ordering somewhere between just 500 to 1000 so the manufacturing partner has to adjust their initial pricing quote to us.

In any case, let's shoot for $10,000 so we can get these stretch goal pouches included for FREE!

Of course, if we don't reach it, it still just means we will produce only the amount needed for those who want to purchase them as a $5.00 ADD-ON at the end of the campaign.

Just wanted to share a very useful multitool carabiner ADD-ON we are curating. We have seen these go for around $12 -$13. We are working with the manufacturing partner in hopes to get this price down to around $8 - $10 for our backers. It has 13 tools in 1 and will be available on the BackerKit Survey if anyone is interested.

For us to gauge interest and also to have an estimated quantity to discuss with the manufacturer, please vote on the Poll below.

Just checking in with everyone. We wanted to let you know that we do not think we will be able to reach the $25,000 stretch goal and so we have an idea!

We are just $17,405 (at least at the time of this backer update) so the idea is when this project ends, we are going to see if we can move this project over to Kickstarter for additional funding. That way if we can raise $17,405 on there, we can mass produce all the organizers together and include the FREE zippered pouch for everyone and you will not have to purchase it for $5.00 each as an optional ADD-ON.

There are some pros and cons with this idea;

Pros:

We believe we can reach this $17,405 goal on Kickstarter "statistically" because all of our previous campaigns have raised over the amount. We have supporters on there that we feel have not come to BackerKit Crowdfunding perhaps do to the unfamiliarity of it.

If we are able to launch there, it is possible that the Kickstarter algorithm may kick in, bringing in even more extra funding which would allow us to work on other stretch goals and/or other cool ADD-ONS for everyone.

Cons:

Kickstarter may not allow us to bring this campaign over for some reason. Then we aren't going to be able to produce the FREE zippered pouch. We may also have some mass production minimum order quantity issues/delays.

Kickstarter may allow us to launch, but it might take awhile to prepare to launch which ultimately changes our delivery timeline. TBD.

Conclusion:

We've got 11 days left, we are optimistic but at the same time statistically it doesn't look like we will reach $25,000. We really want to try and hit this goal so we will do what we can to try and make it happen.

Hi all,

We've finished making all the items for this project and have started shipping this week!! We should have everything out by the end of next week.

Just a heads up for those of you who have already received your shipping notification - our shipping software glitched and pulled all the BackerKit orders into the wrong store in our database so the notifications listed Because Marriage Matters, not Allegory, as the shipper. This is the marriage coaching business of some good friends of ours. We ship a few of their products so they can focus on the coaching. So if you received a confusing shipping notification, that's why! Apologies for any confusion!
