Project Update: Launch Update
Hey everyone, Anthony here with a quick update.
I decided to give the engineers two more hours as we migrate over pre-alpha accounts and begin to send yours out via email.
Here is why: we are increasing our servers to ensure a quality streaming experience. We discovered the servers we were using were giving some pre-alpha creator issues as we migrated those accounts over, so we decided to bump things up on our end to enhance streaming quality.Â
Here is what we've validated and have ready to go:

Project Update: T-Minus 48 Hours to Alpha Launch!
We are entering the final 48 hours before our alpha launch!!! It is happening!
Now, just like in Starship Troopers, we are excited you all are helping to do your part to eliminate the bugs on Moonbeam so we can have a thriving alpha that moves to beta and then full launch!
Most of you will be the spearhead defining what Moonbeam evolves into—I can't wait to see where we go from here.

Alpha Launch Date/Time:Â
- I'll have an exact time to update you all before Friday, but our goal is to launch before 5pm ET / 4pm CT / 2pm PT on Friday.
Live Streaming Schedule:Â
- Thursday: I'll be live streaming Thursday @ 9pm ET / 8pm CT / 6pm PT on BackerKit, Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, and X. I'll post the live stream here and on YouTube as a VOD for those that miss it. I'll give out more details about launch day and what to expect, plus we can hang out, and you can ask me questions.
- Friday and the Weekend: I'll live stream on MOONBEAM, in the Moonbeam Realm, and everywhere else this weekend! Here comes Moonbeam's live customer support. If you have an issue during the alpha launch, hop into my stream, and we will help you out! Now, that is top-quality customer service!

So I've backed at the Beta tier, but there's a reasonable chance that I may receive an invite during the Alpha. Will that cause any issues with backer rewards being applied to my account, or will I be fine as long as I'm using the email address I provided in the backer survey?

Project Update: Moonbeam Backer Surveys Inbound!
Hey everyone!Â
Some of you may have noticed an email in your inbox with your backer survey. BackerKit requires us to do a smoke test (sending the survey to 5% of backers at each pledge tier) to make sure everything is working the way we want it to.Â
Once we’ve received the majority of smoke test responses, we’ll triple-check everything, and we aim to send the survey to all backers early next week.Â
What Happens Next?
If you submit your survey on or before December 2nd, you will receive an email with your account details on Alpha Launch Day (December 6th).Â
After December 2nd, we will send out account details on a weekly basis as surveys come in.Â
The sooner you fill out the backer survey, the sooner we can fulfill your pledge. When you log in for the first time, all your rewards, including Early Bird and Cross-Collaboration incentives, will be waiting in your account!Â
If your pledge involves Beta access, you will not receive your account on December 6th. Keep an eye on our campaign updates for when we announce our Beta Launch.Â
In case you missed it, our friends over at Monte Cook Games announced the winners of their streaming scholarship! The Cypher Stream Creator Fund recipients will start streaming on Moonbeam when we go to full release in 2025. Image Specs
For those of you who are excited about profile images, profile banners, or Realm images, here are the specs to get you started early!
- Profile images should be 400px by 400px.
- Profile cover images should have an aspect ratio of 5:2. For best results, use an image that's between 1,000 and 2,000 pixels wide.
- Realm logos should be 400px by 400px.

Alpha Phase Realm Owners
If you pledged at the Realm Owner tier, you'll have your Realm ready to go once you log in with your Moonbeam account. You can set up your channels, roles, and images. Additionally, we expect to have up to 100 invite codes that you can use to invite people into your Realm and onto Moonbeam. You can use these invites to invite anyone into your community!
