Everything so far is amazng, the coins are SO GOOD! I am wondering if the decals will survive as a bumper sticker though. My car kinda feels like it needs to be a Windrunner....

Since we're backing a pair of sword & sorcery novellas inspired by a specific time and place in history, I was wondering what other historically-inspired settings (S&S or fantasy in general) were popular among this crowd, and what settings we want to see more of? One of my favorites, Heruzala, from Tanith Lee's Cyrion stories, walks the line between being a secondary world inspired by, and an alternate history of, the Middle East & Mediterranean -- arguably set around the same period as the Double Edged novellas. It gives off a strong sense of place without Lee going into too much exposition about the background, just enough detail to spark the reader's imagination. I would like to see how far into modern history a story could be set while still being recognizable as S&S. M. John Harrison's IN VIRICONIUM was marketed as "Pre-Raphaelite sword & sorcery;" the setting is modeled after Victorian London and one could argue that it contains all of the "base elements" of S&S (as defined in Brian Murphy's FLAME & CRIMSON), but it also feels like it's not intended to be read that way, and exists at the very outskirts of the genre. I would love to see what other writers could do with the genre in this kind of setting.

It’s Canadian Thanksgiving today, so I’m wishing a day of comfort to everyone. Sometimes circumstances can make this day a challenge so I only hope that it is a quiet, calming day for everyone whatever that looks like for you. It’s also a good day to reflect on something to be thankful for and for me I’m so thankful for this project and the community that has connected us during this time. I’m also thankful today for my life such as it is. I’m here to live it and I’m grateful to be where I am. 💕💕 Happy Monday to everyone else without a holiday today lol 🤗
