Just finished reading the preview pdf and I'm a big fan of the work. I understand (and largely agree) with the section about "starting in Season 2" but I do think the book would benefit from a small sidebar addressing how to incorporate (or Flashback) to the group's first transcendence together and how that was a powerful, formative experience for the protags (and the players!). The group's bond (including that bond's complications) is central to so many aspects of the game, and I would think that that first big cinematic moment is part of the bedrock of that relationship. I like thinking that the group gets to experience this again, albeit in a different way, when the Unlikely Hero gains Hero's Destiny (which is wonderfully a potential Super Sailor Moon moment).
