There are a lot of great game products available to support your Cypher System game. Which one(s) do you need?

The short answer is: None. The Cypher System Rulebook has everything you need to run virtually any game you like, including specific sections (with advice, insights, cyphers, gear, and optional rules) for nine different genres. If you were stuck on a desert island, you could play a lifetime’s worth of great RPG campaigns with just the Cypher System Rulebook.

But sometimes it’s nice to dig deep—that’s why we’re funding Rust and Redemption and It’s Only Magic, to join our existing genre books like Claim the Sky and Godforsaken.

And sometimes it’s cool to explore an existing campaign setting, full of interesting and compelling places, situations, characters, and storylines. Hence we have Cypher System products such as Ptolus: Monte Cook’s City by the Spire, The Strange, Path of the Planebreaker, and The Origin, to name just a few.

So which one is right for you?
