I have noticed there isn't as much community interaction on Backerkit as there is in Kickstarter. Is that due to the platform somehow or is this typical of a MC project?
While I fully understand that The Wierd is the main focus of this crowdfunding, I was wondering if you have any stretch goals planned for The Glimmering Valley. Also, what is currently the expected page count for that book?
If I pledge for the deck add-on, will that include both the print and the PDF version of the deck?
First backer ever! Given I already have a few other campaigns running, for the time being, I am only pledging for the glimmering valley, but I already know I will add The Weird during the pledge management phase...
I'm backing for the physical copy of the Glimmering Valley, and I would like to add on a pdf version of the Weird, but I don't see that as an add-on. Are there any plans to make the pdf versions of the books and add-on?
The bouncy d20 for signing up for being notified thing, how do I get that? 😁
Any way we'll get a chance to see what the two decks are expected to look like?
What is in the decks, please? I need to know in order to know what level to pledge at. Is it the content from the books on deck form, or completely new content? Thanks.
Hey there, so this is super interesting. I did wonder what system the books are for? Especially the Glimmering Vale which I think I kind of like more, but who knows what will happen as I see more of both. (I looked at the pdf for the Weird and its a bit overwhelming in color t...
Will 10 Years of Adventure be available for add-on?
I was trying to select my add-ons but found no way to do so. Please let me know how to get that done. I'll also contact BackerKit for this. :)
Hi, I just want to ask as I havent found the information, is there an actual difference between the standard Weird book and the deluxe Weird book in terms of content within the book itself or is it purely cosmetics such as the cover and such? Thank you.
As the tittle says, will we have access to pdfs of the books before we get the actual physical product and if so when? I’d really like to get my hands on them to help with a. New Numenera. A paint I’m planning.
I find it strange an upgrade is a downgrade. In the $40 digital reward you get PDFs of everything, decks included. But if you want the Physical books at the $90 level, you have to give up the digital decks. At more than double the cost, shouldn't this upgrade just add the pri...
I really hate having to give my credit card number to yet another website just so I can support you guys.
Is the Weird deck new content, or is it content from the book in more convenient form? Similarly, is the Sites deck content that's already in The Glimmering Valley or is it new? Thanks.
I'd like to find out if the Gonzo tier includes both the physical Minis and the STLs, or if the STLs need to be added on?
Does the All In level include both the standard and deluxe hardcovers? If we get the dice set, the early bonus d20 is in addition right? So 2 d20s for 8 total?
Had someone who is not a backer yet ask, "Does the book include everything on the cards?" To put it another way, Will the information on the cards be directly taken from the Weird books and just have art added? Basically for easy access or randomization of the Weird that is go...
Still finishing reading about my dear little Liars and the Weird stuff pops up... Back for another round of new RPG tools and alternative narrative or game mechanics. Cheers from Down Under MCG.
I cant wait for this! but I do hope that some of the stretch goals add to the Glimmering valley book as well!
Thank you so much, backers, for not just funding The Weird and The Glimmering Valley today, but also unlocking our first stretch goal! We'll have the update out in a little while.
I wanted to post this as an extremely long-time fan and supporter of Monte and the team at MCG: These folks are extremely good at what they do. I'm lucky enough to have been able to support everything they've done for a great many years, and these days I just pledge at the hig...
The world has finally caught up to me. I made a few sets of dice out of RTV with a cardstock shell back in 1980, as polyhedral dice were seriously hard to find in my local area. I used them as my go-to dice for years, and the bounce is wonderful.
One of the best things MCG has to offer, is the imagination and weird creativity of people who work there... So, when I saw a "the weird" crodwdfunding, I couldn't wait to back it. Now, I can't wait to add that weirdness in my games. Thank you so much for every game and prod...
