In case you missed it: Seven beloved animals decided it was time for NASA to take the Space Shuttle Orbiter out of storage and bring it back to create a habitat off the earth for all animal kind and venture where no animal has gone before. The orbiter fleet has been retired since July 2011 with 135 human crewed missions. Commander Stella has decided the mission number 136 - or STS-1A will be the very first animal only flight and she invites you all to come along with her!

Our campaign goal will unlock Commander Stella the plushie. She will be a 10" tall sitting plushie. She will be extra fluffy with embroidery details. The next goals unlock interchangeable microsuede like, costumes! First up is the official CATS space suit. The initial $2500 goal will unlock all add-ons, the Stella cat plushie and the Cross-Collab Freebie!
These plushies will be safety tested to the US regulations ASTM F963 as well as a hang tag, and butt tag with the proper information for this registration. If you are located outside of the US I am still researching plush regulations for sale in foreign countries and cannot confirm delivery outside of the USA at this time.

Here's a look into the manufacturing process for these plushies! This process began with the help of Robot Dragon Studios in 2023 and included two different manufacturers.
Sample 1:
The original sample from the first factory came out a little log like - and while everyone loves a good kitten loaf this didn't quite hit that mark!
Sample 2:
The next sample came in from a different factory and felt a little more on brand, though she needed some work on her final form. Ultimately, we took a break for convention season and I stewed on what I wasn't happy with.
Sample two also came with the first iteration of our costume! Which I'm gonna be completely honest with you, I AM IN LOVE WITH.
Fast forward to a few months ago.
Sample 3:
Our most recent sample isn't final yet, BUT she has a huge change in cuddlability. Instead of just a display plushie, she is a travel companion, a stress release and basically the size of the actual IRL Stella. The original samples were less than 8" long. Sample 3 sits at 10" top of her head to bottom of her butt.
Sample 4:
Follow along for updates as we go. Sample 4 will build off sample 3 with shorter arms and a smaller snoot to better fit her face.
All shipping will be charged after the campaign is over. Your pledges do not include shipping costs.
Plushies will be safety tested for the USA, I am in process of researching if that'll will work anywhere internationally. As of right plushies can only be shipped within the USA.
USA: Pins will be packaged in a bubble mailer USPS First Class or Priority depending on the weight. For orders with more items, they may be shipped in a small box. All US shipments will come with tracking.
Canada: Pins will be packaged and sent via USPS international first class mail.
International: Your shipment will be sent via USPS First Class International with tracking. Please note you'll be responsible for any customs/VAT fees that may occur. It is illegal for me to change the price or mark the items as a gift on the customs form.
UK/Other If your country is not available on the Backerkit shipping you have two options, message me and if possible I will add it. If it is not possible due to customs/VAT pledge to the $1 price guarantee. I will reach out to you personally with a custom Esty listing.

Hello! I'm Kristen - a rocket scientist and creator. I've dabbled in enamel pins since spring of 2019 when I made my first Fantasy pin featuring my favorite characters Baymax and Pua. Since then I've created over 70 enamel pins and am looking forward to continue to expand my designs.
