That's an understandable feeling and worthy of being expressed. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, I am glad to hear them.
These different sales take a lot of pre-planning (signing the Bands of Mourning books and ordering mugs, pants, shirts, in all ten Radiant orders in substantial quantities, for example) and unfortunately have overlapped. The delay on the playing cards was probably part of the issue. Was this incorrect planning? Unexpected problems (water main break)? Overestimation of the team's ability to ship? Probably all those combined.
Delaying selling and shipping Light Day stuff until after all the leatherbounds go out (maybe the add-ons too?) would put such a sale into next year. Is that the right thing to do? To delay those potential Christmas gifts for people? (On the flip side, is Light Day delaying WoR items that would have been Christmas gifts?) This would also force all those items to sit in Dragonsteel's warehouse, which carries a cost too.
Is there one RIGHT answer? Probably not. It's good to have a conversation, and I support you sharing your feelings, that is important and helps Dragonsteel's future planning and sales too.
