Daedalus Station and the Rimspace Racing League is a brand new 44 page adventure for Mothership by S. Murphy (Alone in the Deep, In Carmine), packed with content and easily usable in any campaign. The book details the titular Daedalus Station, a pirate space station obsessed with high-stakes Slickcraft races. Inside you'll find a comprehensively detailed hub location, a conspiracy adventure set within it, and mechanics for betting on and simulating races—a perfect way for player characters to spend their ill gotten gains!

Features:
  • Full conspiracy adventure set aboard the station.
  • 11 detailed locations containing a variety of services to serve any crew.
  • 10+ illustrated NPC's.
  • Top notch layout from Eric Hill.
  • Ten unique racing teams with their own histories, personalities, and abilities.

$3000 - Everyone gets paid more (Hooray!)

Technically this is true of all of the milestones, as everyone working on this project will receive a share of the profit made but this is about the mark where it starts to really be noticeable.

$4000 - PDF Remediation

At this milestone, Eric (our layout artist) will go through the pdf for the book and make sure it's fully bookmarked and that it plays well with screen readers.

$6000 - Alone in the Deep Remastered

At the $6000 mark, all backers will receive a digital copy of the remastered version of S. Murphy's classic Mothership adventure, Alone in the Deep, with revised layout by Eric Hill and stats updated for 1E.

$8000 - The Hauler's Handbook

At this milestone, all backers will receive a digital copy of the Hauler's Handbook, a pamphlet supplement that generates unique space trucking jobs for your campaign. Written by S. Murphy with layout by Eric Hill.

$10000 - Writer's Commentary

At 10k, S. Murphy will produce a video talking about the development process of Daedalus Station—walking through the steps of drafting, developing refining, and working with other creatives—and providing commentary on the ideas behind the module.

$12000 - Hit the Ground Running Adventure

Fellow Mothership creator Octopus Ink Games will write up a Daedalus-related adventure to be released to all backers digitally.

Shipping:

Delays suck! So, to physically fulfill the book, we're working with indie publishing veterans Space Penguin Ink, LLC. Here are the details:

'Shipping will be charged post campaign via BackerKit, and we are trying to keep shipping costs down.

All orders will be shipped from the US. We are trying to keep EU/UK/ROW shipping as low as possible, but can't guarantee there will be no import fees. Import fees are the responsibility of the backer.

We will also endeavour to provide shipping options that include tracking in BackerKit. Estimated shipping costs are as follows. We are using weight-based shipping, and you will be charged shipping via BackerKit for the total weight of your pledge and any add-ons.

  • United States - $9-12
  • Canada - $19-26
  • United Kingdom - $19-26
  • EU - $19-26
  • US Territories and ROW - $27-38

Note that these are shipping estimates, based on projected book weights. All estimates are in USD. These estimates are subject to change. We will offer tracked shipping options in BackerKit.

Unfortunately we cannot ship to the following countries at the current time:
Afghanistan, Belarus, Brunei Darussalam, Lao People's Democratic Republic, Myanmar, Niue, Russian Federation, Syrian Arab Republic, Yemen. '

Risks:

The book is completely finished and ready to go to print as soon as we have collected all of the necessary info from backers. Digital copies will be released shortly after the campaign ends. International shipping is still on the fritz at the moment so it's possible that issues could come up but we'll endeavor to keep you updated with how things are going.
