Monty Mothman and His Eclipse Pals Story | Chapter: "MONTY MOTHMAN"
If you backed my first ever crowdfunding and plush project, Kidd Krampus, then you most likely know about Monty Mothman! This little plush was chosen by you to be the next Plushpanion™️.

If you’re new here, a Plushpanion™️ is an eco-friendly plush companion specially designed for play and display! Plushpanions are magnetically interactive, and all of their accessories are interchangeable!
The magnets are placed in the mouth, head, and hands of each plush, so the play and display possibilities are creatively endless. These plushies sit at 12-13 inches tall, hair depending. Each character has a craft, and Monty Mothman’s is candle making as he finds the stillness and repetitive nature of wax-craft relaxing. With this, his accessories include:

In addition to Monty's adorable front design, he also has a fluffy tail and detailed wing design, loosely inspired by the Death's-head Hawk moth's wings. The wings are a mix of fabric and embroidery, making Monty a texturally fun toy, too!

Monty Mothman and His Eclipse Pals Story | Chapter: "PLUSHPANIONS"
As mentioned previously, Plushpanions™️ are eco-friendly plush companions. They are made from Global Recycled Standard fabrics, specifically 100% post-consumer waste plastic, like water bottles, discarded fishing nets, and the like. Which means, with each plush, you're helping clear our oceans of plastics.
Their stuffing is also PLA cotton, which is a plant-based bioplastic. To create this filler, cotton is spun at high heat, chemically altering it into a new stronger material entirely. This results in a filler that is sustainable, hypoallergenic, biodegradable in the wild or compostable at dedicated facilities. As an added bonus, PLA material is not interesting to bugs as a food source, which makes for stellar stuffing!
To clarify, though PLA cotton is spun from cotton, it is not cotton. The chemical heat alteration of the plant makes it a new hypoallergenic material!
Plushpanions™️ also have the signature magnet placement in their hands, mouth, and newly added head magnet, encouraging dynamic styling and imaginative play.

Hey, I’m L ( she/her ), the creator of Plushpanions™️! I am thrilled to say that this is my second crowdfunding project. I’ve been an artist all of my life, but I have been creating chibi stream assets and merch, officially as WildnCrafty Designs, since 2021.
In 2023 I realized that I could put my artistic background into one of my favorite mediums: Plushies! Driven by my love for all things in nature, from creepy to cute and additionally, folklore - I strive to promote appreciation and conservation of the planet through Plushpanions™️.
Monty Mothman and His Eclipse Pals Story | Chapter: "ECLIPSE PALS"
The Eclipse Pals are Monty's close group of friends. This is because he is friends with all moths, of course, and a group of moths is called an Eclipse!

Our main campaign goal is to fund Monty Mothman, but there are more plush pal designs to unlock! Once we reach our funding goal for Monty, stretch goals will be added to further fund more moth plushies. This means more props and costumes to interchange with each plush!

Monty Mothman and His Eclipse Pals Story | Chapter: "PLEDGES & ADD-ONS"
When you pledge to a BackerKit campaign, there are set pledge levels that you can select from. Those pledges come with singular or bundled items that can vary from pins, to stickers, plushies, and more. These items are usually Add-Ons from the campaign, but they can also be pledge exclusive items.

Bring your potions and dice, because the next installment of plushies will be fantasy themed! This campaign will feature a new way of customizing your Plushpanion. When you select your plush pledge, you'll be able to mix and match Add-Ons of what props and clothing you want to pair them with - to craft your custom class!
