Have a question about the nature of the project? The specs of the dice? Hit me up here, I will answer as possible.
Just curious if the cards that come free for backing the first 24 hours comes 1 per backer or 1 per deck pledged?
I pledged for the double deck tier and just want clarification.
1 per Backer! : )
So if I wanted 2 sets of the cards, would adding one on to my order mess up getting a free one?
I.e. adding to cart making the price from regular to free instead of insuring that I get 2 sets
With the alleyman tarot there were tons of people who added the 4th booster even tho we all got it free and they ended up with two, so it should be the same.
Okay, first time backing a campaign using Backer Kit for the campaign phase, so not sure how things will go... though considering Backer Kit is the best pledge manager, I'm hopeful it'll go better than the one time I backed a campaign on GameFound(I don't like their pledge manager, and I dislike their campaigns more)...
My first question is whether the transition to the pledge manager phase will work similarly to when a campaign is done on Kickstarter and only uses Backer Kit's pledge manager. My second is whether a $1 pledge on a Backer Kit campaign automatically grants access to the pledge manager or if creators retain the option to only send the pledge manager to Backers above a certain level... and my third is how Backer Kit handles a card being declined at campaign's end... Is it a 7-day grace period like with Kickstarter and then the pledge is dropped or is it like when Backer Kit charges for pledge manager add-ons and it retries weekly(or whenever the creator issues a charge attempt) until it either goes through or the creator decides to cancel the order(either due to non-payment or the backer requesting the cancellation)?
Just trying to figure out how much wiggle room I have to work with regarding when things are charged under ideal circumstances versus when I actually get paid.
Also, anyone know how to set display names on Backer Kit? Since it clearly isn't using the screen name exported from Kickstarter like it does in Backer Kit invites... Also, anyone else find it harder to talk about the various phases of a crowdfunding project when the same service is being used for phases that are so often performed with different services?
Hello, you can go to your profile top right corner of the screen to edit your display name. :)
My good friend, always happy to see you on another project!
Yes, the transition to pledge manager will be similar to normal except with less of a jump, since we're already on that site. Yes, a $1 pledge will go to the manager like everyone elses. I don't know how Backerkit would handle dropped cards, we can ask, but I'd imagine it's the same as they do otherwise, where it retries once a week.
I see that you're going to get some other stone dice from the manufacturer to show us (non-Goblin) examples (yay!), but can you let us know generally what sort of stones they will be? Like, are we talking pretty quartzes and sandstone and the like? Or more, um... rockish stones? The overly enthusiastic magpie that is my soul is very impatient and wants to start imagining the possibilities ASAP.
A little bit of each! I promise I will share the stone selection in the very near future!
I was wanting to add a community copy and added the extra for it to my pledge. Is that going to work, or do I need to pledge for the community copy, and then add the extra for the items I want?
Or alternatively, can I just make a second pledge for the community copy without effecting my original pledge?
The way you've already done it is perfect, Community Copy will be an add-on in the pledge manager for you to assign that extra to, so we'll see a big jump in the Community Copy pool when the campaign ends!
That’s good to hear. The outpouring of goodwill from this community that has grown from the Alley has been amazing, and it feels right that community copies are an option that we all can actively contribute to in more ways than just meeting a specified goal.
Will I be able to change my pledge later? I got the full set with the box, but if I like the stone set enough I might want to upgrade!
Yes, you can, at least untill the campaign closes.
I'm not into dice or runes, etc. so am just pledging money because I know you'll make a quality project and was VERY impressed by Alleyman's Tarot and would definitely support your projects over and over again in the future. Even though I'm only backing money do I still get the oracle cards since I'm pledging on day 1? I don't have experience with oracle cards but am curious and would try them out if I do -- but I won't be sad if it's not included. I couldn't find the answer in the other Q's (I find it hard/chaotic to go through forum questions like this). Thanks!
Never mind, I upped my pledge amount because I'm going to get the oracle deck add-on and see if I like them. So assuming I get the 21-card deck + the 126 card add on, it will be a lot to explore the oracle cards. Thanks for having the option!
Everyone who got their pledge in the first 24 hours will get a Lords oracle! : )
Is there an estimate for when the stretch goal prices will be revealed? We're already $30k over the funding goal and I always get hype seeing how quickly stretch goals are met, so it's a bit disappointing not being able to track them.
I'm so excited for this one! Still waiting on Alleyman's, but messaged New Titan.
Question: mostly due to my confusion. I've pledged for the basic set for myself. But I would love to add a community pledge too. Is it/will it be possible? Or am I just not seeing the option, because I'm looking at the wrong place
Hi, yay for adding a community set! I think you can add 35 manually to your pledge and after the campaign closes you can label them as community set (like others do with their add ons - Seven explained this in the add ons section).
Just what Annet said! : )
I just knew I must have missed it somewhere! Thank you for the help! I did add the extra amount onto my pledge!
