Hello everyone! The Elixir shops are buzzing with activity as we pack up Deluxe Boorista boxes and get these inky books ready to ship out to backers!! We will start to lock completed surveys this week which means that…..

Fulfillment starts soon! Now is the time to make sure that you have completed your backer survey so that our spectral friends know where to deliver your ink rewards! We promise all packages will be ectoplasm free upon delivery. 

Also….today is the last day to back our new board game Harvest Hoppers on Kickstarter, so hop on over to check it out before time runs out!!

Hello spooky spirits! We’re hard at work prepping ink for 2023 and wanted to share a few updates with you all. We are cruising toward an April fulfillment start - just as promised on the campaign page’s timeline! Don’t forget to hop on over to our new board game, Harvest Hoppers, as well which is live on Kickstarter.

The Backer Survey is starting to roll out! Be sure to fill out your information as soon as you can so that we can get your items shipped to you on time. Also… we will be sending out PDF copies of the game to backers in batches following the completion of their surveys!

The Books have been printed and have arrived at our fulfillment partners. They look spooktacular and are ready to ship once the backer survey is closed! ALMOST all the bits and bobs that are being tucked inside the hefty Deluxe Boorista Box have arrived at the studio as well. We can't wait to have a box stuffing party to get everyone’s items inside. We’ve enlisted the help of a few other specters to help. Many Worlds Tavern is at work on the coffee as well, and we can’t wait to have all that inky coffee wafting through the studio soon.

Curious to learn more about the world and inhabitants of ink? We’ll be publishing our first short story set in the ink-iverse next month as part of Cozy Companion, Snowbright’s new cozy games and fiction magazine. More info on Cozy Companion is available on our website and in the pledge manager! We have a few other inky surprises lined up between now and next October’s return to “Snowfright”.

Hello spooks and spirits! We’re hard at work prepping ink for 2023 and wanted to share a few updates with you all.

Pledge manager emails will go out in early 2023, so if you were worried that you missed it, rest assured that you have not! 

The game book is currently wrapping up final layout. We are really excited about how it's shaping up, and it will be floating over to the book printer soon!

All the bits and bobs that are going to be tucked inside the Deluxe Boorista Box are also in their final designs and are going over to the box printer right after the book files are sent.

In other exciting news… design has wrapped up on the ink map! Catch a preview of part of it below. The Ink is a shifting, shadowy, liminal space so our goal was to communicate both the scope and wonder of the Ink while showcasing how the islands in the Ink, known as Keys, may shift around as your spirited players explore. There are also a few sneaky peeks at what lays above and beyond the Ink, so keep your eyes (however many you might have) open to spot some of them.

Live Play

Girls Run These Worlds will be running a live play of ink on December 19th as part of their Winter One Shot series! You can catch the broadcast at 8pm ET on their Twitch channel.

First off, thanks for sailing on this exciting adventure with us. We couldn't have done it without your support!

So what's next?

It will take about two weeks for payments to clear BackerKit. During that time, we will be working on setting up the Pledge Manager and will be sharing that with you shortly after. We are close to wrapping up work on ink and will be sending it to the printer later this month. Backers will likely see their PDF copies make their way to them sometime this December. We expect printing to wrap up in March and for books to begin their journey to distribution centers in April. This means fulfillment of the Deluxe Boorista Box set and physical copies of the game should begin in May! 

You will be getting regular updates from us on the development progress, sneak peeks at the game, and of course, if we run into any hiccups, we will pass that info on in our updates.

Our first stretch goal is a hardcover upgrade for all physical copies of ink! It’s not too far away… When we hit $15,000, all Book and Deluxe Boorista Box backers will automatically have their books upgraded from softcover to hardcover! 

What comes after that? If we can reach $25,000, a new online character generator will be made available to all backers. You'll be able to get started with ink even faster with this new online tool. Create new spirits with just a few button clicks!

The more people who back the game, the closer we get to unlocking these goals (and more). You can help out by sharing ink on social media and by letting your friends know how excited you are to explore the spirit world!

Psssst let me introduce you to Seven. Seven is a psychopomp that calls the Ink it’s home. As you read through the game keep your eyes peeled for Seven’s tips and tricks on how to survive in the Ink. Heck a GM may even want to add this quixotic skeletal creature into the game to help introduce their players to the world or to help nudge a party along when they get stuck.
