The Well of the Worlds is a campaign setting for the Prowlers & Paragons TTRPG meant to evoke the feel of Japanese Isekai and western portal fantasy tales. As with many classic examples of the genre, much of a player’s (and their character’s) experiences during a session will come from exploring the Well. As the campaign progresses, they will learn more about the Well’s peculiar climate, discover strange ruins, wonder at the unusual sky, and meet numerous peoples who are definitely not from Earth. And as is the case with many of these stories, the characters slowly discover they have strange and unusual powers in this new world (and that this peaceful paradise holds a dark secret). As the setting’s subtitle says, this is where the Bermuda Triangle ends.

Designed as a stand-alone pocket universe, the Well was originally connected to assorted alternate dimensions and worlds throughout the multiverse. It is from these worlds the park’s intended visitors originally came. Currently, the Well is still connected to a multitude of other universes, but the connections are unstable and tend to drift and/or open erratically. In addition, the Well, by its very nature, is prone to ‘collect’ errant hyperspace jaunts, teleportation errors, lost dimensional portals, and the like. Think of it this way — the Well of the Worlds sits at the ‘bottom’ of the multiverse, slowly collecting all of the inter-dimensional detritus that drifts down through the ‘verse, eventually fetching up within the Well itself.
