Now my business partner Patrick Tyndall and I have embarked on a new mission. To create a documentary all about the life and career of production designer Joe Alves.

Joe's work was instrumental on films like The Sugarland Express, Jaws, Close Encounters Of The Third Kind, Escape From New York and Starman. Those movies simply wouldn't exist without Joe. He worked in the industry for more that four decades and rubbed shoulders with just about everyone.

The amazing thing is that Joe kept something from every project he worked on. And when I say "something", I mean a lot of things. We've got full access to Joe, his stories and his incredible archive of production material and we want to share it all with you.
