Get Ready for Full House of Plants Playing Cards

Last November, on a cold winter night when my house is full of dying plants. I thought I would start a mini series of plant illustrations with more details than I’ve ever done before.

I recorded quick tutorials and time lapses on my instagram and it quickly became a much larger project than I anticipated!

Fast forward to this year, after putting this on hiatus for months due to the birth of my son (and saying goodbye to sleep), I’ve finally picked it back up and finished the deck! Phew, that was so much work for this tired mama.

Ladies and gentlemen.... I'm proud to present, my first ever deck of cards –  the House of Plants.

Well, if you have a house full of plants then you'd understand there is nothing a plant parent wouldn't do to tell the world about their plant babies. This is my way of sharing about my plant journey, and how at the end of the day, all plants are just silly little things that makes us happy (Oh sorry, not you Calathea). 

There are a total of 40 individual plant portraits, 12 plant family portraits, and 2 jokers. I'd say in total I've spent well over 200 hours on illustrating the series and designing the cards.
