A series of enamel pins showcasing the most powerful women in mythology 🐍🌸
So far I have 5 pin designs including a freebie collab pin (more info below)! These designs include these Femme Fatales in mythology:
- Medusa- She represents strength, power, and female empowerment. A side story to her curse from Athena is that Instead of punishing Medusa with a head of snakes that could turn men to stone, Athena protected her. Athena blessed Medusa with the ability to defend herself, and her daughters, from men so she would never be hurt again.
- Aphrodite- She was a woman of exceptional beauty with an allure capable of captivating every God in heaven. All gods feared that Aphrodite’s beauty will lead to rivalry amongst them and might even be a cause of war.
- Siren- These were the most dangerous creatures from mythology that are the ultimate portrayal of a femme fatale. Sirens would lure nearby sailors with their enchanting music and voices in order to shipwreck them on the rocky coast of the island.
- Succubus- These are supernatural entities that appear in dreams to seduce men. A femme fatale tries to achieve her hidden purpose by using feminine wiles such as beauty, charm, and sexual allure which makes them the perfect final charm in this Femme Fatale enamel pin series
Freebie Collab pin:
- Persephone, the Goddess of Spring and Queen of the Underworld. She was kidnapped by Hades and later became the Queen of the Underworld. The ancient Greeks used this to explain the change of the seasons, the eternal cycle of the Nature's death and rebirth.
