We're just 2 days off launch, so to celebrate I thought I'd share some art previews.

Our artists are Vincent Sammy, who did the cover image, and Paul Tomes. I'll share one piece from each.

This one, by Vincent Sammy, imagines a horror out of literal nightmare.

I love Vincent's visceral, spiky work and this piece is exactly what I was hoping for from the brief. We get the powerful feeling that the creature is reaching out of nightmare to terrorise the character.

This one, by Paul Tomes, shows disaster about to be unleashed in a mine.

We wanted Paul on the project because we love the way his illustrations make the characters seem small and lost amongst a beautiful and often sinister landscape. This is a great example: The miners are these tiny figures in the deep tunnels of the mine, and the tentacles are vast and monstrous in comparison. We feel like the mine is about to shake itself to pieces.

Of course, both of these pieces will also have hidden elements that you can only see with a UV flashlight, as explained over on the Black Armada blog. I haven't shared these - you'll just have to wait for the surprise when you get the game!
