Hi! I’m Dixon Block—educator by trade, game designer by passion, and the creator behind Driving Me Crazy! and Knights of the Pond Table (with more to come!) By day, I design and facilitate serious games and workshops for teams and organizations. By night (and often early morning), I dive headfirst into creating tabletop games that bring people together for connection, laughter, and a bit of friendly competition. Simplexity Games is sort of like minimalism meets board games. I believe great games don’t need to be complicated to be memorable and fun. My goal is to design experiences that are easy to learn, quick to play, but still offer a chance for critical thinking and strategic play. Rules should only be there if they are necessary, and anything not adding value to a balanced, fun, and challenging game is stripped away. Driving Me Crazy! was my first published game, inspired by the beautiful chaos of road trips and the unpredictable fun of game nights with friends. It’s light, fast, and built for shouting, groaning, and cheering around the table. It was funded in 7 hours and 60% sold out even before the games left the factory! When I’m not designing games, you’ll find me working on creative education projects, running game-based workshops, or chasing after my toddler with a coffee in hand. Once upon a time, science fiction was about science and engineering. Was about big ideas for how technology can transform the world. Was about what a high-tech future might look like, and how it might feel to be a real person living there. Was about our hopes and aspirations. But something happened. Somewhere along the way, our fiction lost hope. Began preaching our inevitable failure. Began sifting through the ashes of endless visions of decay. Began lamenting instead of inspiring. Began, above all, lecturing us for daring to have hopes, dreams, and desires, for daring to think that the universe is a better place with humans in it than without, that tomorrow might be better than today. Well, some of us aren't interested in self-flagellation. And we're not done with the big ideas yet. I'm Devon Eriksen. And I'm writing the Orbital Space trilogy as a love letter to every head-high pile of science fiction classics I ever hid in the back of a public library with. Lazy Monkey Studio is a solo artist run brand/business based in Australia. Lana started exploring her art commercially back in 2016, creating apparel and learning the ropes on various product designs. They made their first manufactured plushie in the same year which took off called 'Galaxy Buddies' a creature based on a splice of a bunny/galaxy. In 2018 Lana took a break for few years and now has come back with even more creativity to show with Lazy Monkey Studio. Lazy Monkey Studio is a newly launched apparel brand and hopefully future toy brand.

My name is Ross and I'm an avid miniature war gamer and have been playing table top games for most of my life. I am launching my first ever kickstarter to raise funds for a miniature painting handle that I created and have been developing over the last few years. It's called The Atlas Handle and it is a feature heavy painting tool that builds upon a handle traditional design by adding a variety of innovative features, most notably a built in chuck mechanism that is capable of holding pins, rods, drills bits, etc, 1mm to 3mm in diameter. The handle is especially great for sub-assembly and batch painters because unlike traditional handles you can attach models of any share or size. I'm excited to join the backerkit community and look forward to checking out some projects and campaigns.  I'm hoping that the Atlas Handle will become the flagship product for my hobby tools and accessories company Beacon Hobbies. My ultimate goal is to start a company that produces a line of Hobby essentials, taking an innovative approach at designing the hobby heavy hitters.  I'm always happy to do a pledge for pledge, just send me a DM!

The game is set in a post-Earth era where humanity has endured a war against artificial intelligence. Players take on the role of summoned interstellar pioneers, venturing into the cosmos as the story unfolds, revealing the inevitable trials of humanity during interstellar exploration.
