Project Update: Jan '23: Monthly Project Tracking Update

Hello Scions,

Welcome to 2023! Well, welcome to the end of  January 2023 and the first of our regular monthly status updates. We're still in the earliest stages of this post-campaign, where projects make incremental movements along the progress path. A lot of months will be pretty similar, just a quick note to let you know that the Onyx Path team is still working on it. Any time we have a new reward or something of interest to share, I'll include that as well.

At the end of each month, I'll include a summary of our rewards and their current status (they'll either be delivered or marked as still pending, possibly with additional details if I know more). I'll also list any relevant Update posts, in case you want to go back and check into something.

In addition to notes on our reward status, each month I'll also include the BackerKit links and my How To PDF notes, as well as contact information in case you need to get in touch, and a link back to our compiled draft manuscript.

The Onyx Path Scion Forums Are Back!

After breaking under the strain of awesome threads, the Onyx Path team have re-vamped, repaired, and re-organized their forums.  They work again! Feel free to drop by the Onyx Path Forums  - including the Scion forum in particular.

REWARDS STILL PENDING


Every month, I'll share our project progress tracker, so we can watch the dots fill in as our rewards work their way to us. As noted, we're still in the earliest stages of this part of the campaign. Our main reward, Scion: God, is currently in editing, where the editing team take the manuscript from the developers and work their magic. One of our Stretch Goal projects, the Jumpstart, has moved to first draft status, with the writing team creating the content for this project. Our other two stretch goal supplements, the companion and Divine Inspiration, are in the outlines and assignments phase, where the Scion development team works up an outline and rough word counts for the contents of the book and begins to find writers to cover these sections. We'll use this chart and additional notes to follow along each month.

You can find the weekly Monday Meeting blog updates <here>, which note any projects with status changes since the previous Month End summary. The project statuses listed are current as of last Monday, so do check it out each Monday night to see if anything may have progressed!

I will continue to post regular updates every month until the final Stretch Goal reward has gone out.
