The Blurb:
After the queen slips into late stage of this mysterious plague, Princess Lineya, desperate for a cure, navigates the treacherous mountains to Krashe, hoping that their long lost magic of Woolworsting will have a stronger healing spell. But before she leaves, she's forced to announce her betrothal to a high-born noble to give her people hope in troubled times, losing hope that she and Kemp will ever be together.
Although she fights bandits, prejudice, scorn, and suspicion, she must win the trust of the Krashe and the heart of Kemp, who has no recollection of the connection they had in the future. And Kemp has a female friend, Thistle, the fierce huntress. This girl can kill a black bear with her hunting blade and bare hands and she has prior claim on Kemp. Where does that lead Lineya?
When a hired assassin threatens to kill Lineya, she must depend on the oppressed Krashe people to survive, and vice versa. But can they trust each other?
How will Lineya and Kemp heal thousands of years of oppression, lies, abuse, and misunderstanding and rekindle their love?
What are the Stitchbinding Chronicles? When I first created Yfasma, I wanted to tell stories from each of the lands. I originally thought trilogies, but now I've shortened the amount of books and lengthened each story. So Lynden/Krashe would be Weave Of A Thousand Lies and Chains Of Deceit. Mori would have its own duet--Barbaden and Utricia the same. So Chains Of Deceit concludes the first of the duets. Stay tuned for more stories from Yfasma.
Be sure to sign up to follow Chains Of Deceit, the conclusion of the Krashe and Lynden drama!

Fulfillment Finishing!
Stitchbinders!
Thank you for your patience as we are entering the last stages of the fulfillment process! Here's what's going out:
Clothbound books Any books that haven't been delivered. Those shipping to AUS are being drop-shipped with additional add-ons being mailed!
If you haven't received your digital rewards, please respond to the email. They have all been delivered by Backerkit's digital download service, but if you are still missing something please let me know. Some of the codes got wonky in the transfer. I emailed one backer who this might have happened to already. Let me know if I missed anyone else!
Thank you all.
The only thing that is left is the prequel novella from Lineya's POV. I will get that out ASAP
Chains of Deceit clothbound books are arrived! And I looked them all over and they are GORGEOUS! I added the tail bands and the green ribbon as a thank you for your patience.
I will continue the fulfillment next week! (If you haven't received your book from me, all the rest of the books and the add-ons will be sent out this week.)
Barathea part 2 is finished and will be going out.
I am still working on the Prequel novella from Lineya's POV. I'll see if I can finish that by the end of summer and then conclude this campaign!
PRINTOPIA is in September! I am preparing to compile all the Barathea tales and putting them together in one omnibus special edition. I've attached a poll about whether or not to upgrade the cover. I originally just bought a pre-made for the ebooks, but I think it would look nice to have a cover more in line with the whole series. What do you think? Poll below.
If you are still awaiting your rewards (all clothbound books!) I have good news! The printer says they are batched. I honestly have no idea what that means, but it feels like progress!
We are almost done with fulfillment. When the clothbound books get here, I'll finish up the rest of the books (case laminates and cloth along with any other rewards that you are awaiting!)
Just a heads up, I was invited to join Printopia which is coming up in September. I am planning on doing a hardback special edition of all the books in The Tale of Barathea and the Great Hunter. Right now, I only have half done and it's only digital.
I am thinking we could upgrade the cover and do an omnibus of all the books. (There are four!) Two of them are finished. And I am working on the other two. These are quick and fun to write. Let me know what you think!
I'm still hoping to get the prequel novella of Lineya's POV (The early bird bonus)out before I close out this campaign.
I have received the clothbound proof. And it looks amazing! I'll post pictures on social media and try to upload some here. I did find a few flaws (mostly my own mistakes like the ISBN on the back covers the back of the book blurb so I need to get the designer to fix it.
But the book looks amazing!! I'm so pleased with how it looks!
I'll be fixing those small flaws and sending them back to the printer and then once they arrive, I'll be sending out the remaining books.
If you pledged for the ebook and haven't received it, let me know. I sent out the codes through the Backerkit interface. (I noticed a few were never used.) They do expire after two weeks, so if you missed it, l'll re-create the codes for you. Just reply to this email.
Hello Stitchbinders! Thank you for backing Chains of Deceit! I started preparing books for the first wave of distribution!
I still have a few people who haven't paid shipping. I am re-charging the cards. It's a little confusing to do separate transactions and I've never split the rewards and the shipping before. So thank you for your patience as this is a little bit different for me.
Anything that fails, I'll reach out to individuals to see if we can figure out a solution to get your books to you!
