Fractures and Arrivals: A TTRPG of Memory and Choice

Launching

January 2027

You don’t write your backstory. You discover it.

In Fractures and Arrivals, your character begins unfinished.

You know what they look like. You know what they can do right now.

You do not begin with a written history, a class, or a predetermined character arc.

Instead, the past surfaces during play through Memories, while the choices you make under pressure shape the person you are becoming. Neither the past nor the present get the final word alone.  Eventually, they collide.

That moment is Arrival.

The world is breaking too.

The Fracture damaged more than memory.

Most people lost ownership of their own histories. Places began losing continuity. Unresolved wounds became physical, impossible things called Anomalies.

The world remembers what people leave unfinished.  And while your character is trying to discover who they were, every place around them is deciding what it will become.

A game built around consequence.

Fractures and Arrivals is about:

Memory vs. choice.
Your past pulls one way. Your decisions pull another.

Identity emerging through play.
You don’t choose a class at character creation. The way you actually play shapes what eventually Arrives.

Consequences that stay.
People remember. Places deteriorate. Problems you leave behind do not politely wait offscreen.

Power with a price.
Magic, identity, and survival all ask what you are willing to spend.

What’s already here

Fractures and Arrivals is not a pitch for a game we hope to write someday.

The core system is playable. The rules, GM tools, starter material, character progression, magic, Archetypes, Anomalies, and campaign structure already exist.

This campaign is about turning that game into the finished edition it deserves: professional art, editing, layout, production, and a physical release.

You don’t decide who you were.
You don’t completely decide who you become.
You play through the collision.
