Creatures that are half mushroom half cat, in two subcollections: one is colors of the rainbow and the other collection is culinary mushrooms with a big portobello mom cat and tiny little baby meowshrooms!

Since this collection will heavily utilize gradient printing as well as other effects like pearl gradients, I‘m already starting with samples behind the scene. The first sample was already made a year ago, with the others currently being in the process of being shipped to me!

Check-in: Remakes are still ongoing, fulfillment ~30% complete
Hello everyone! Phew two weeks have passed since the last update. Lots has happened, but things aren't moving as fast as I wish!
Fulfillment status: I fulfilled nearly all orders that I was able to complete with the stuff that was ready to ship. The exception are non-mainland US orders and a few backers whose payments came a bit later so I hadn't processed them yet. I think some of you should have gotten your orders already, others are nearing their destination! Reminder: if something is wrong please don't hesitate to reach out via email! (please don't do it on BK comments because I always see comments way too late here and I may need some info that isn't suitable for the public) I want everyone to be happy with their orders (refer to this update)
Remakes Status: Well two weeks was maybe a bit ambitious from my manu but the last update I got from them is that only the screenprint layer is missing now for most of them. On one of them they forgot the pearl swirl this time around.......
(the weird reflection on the eyes is just dirt and will be wiped off, says my manu)
The color looks rather extreme in this photo, but since I've already gotten a batch of these I can say it's vibrant but not radioactive!

What this means: It means that I can't ship out most of the remaining orders in July, given that it's already the 22nd ;-; I am so so so sorry that it's late, but such is sometimes the nature of crowdfunding and making new things sometimes just takes an unexpected turn. This was always a risk but I'm still a bit sad that I can't stick to my initial time plan. I will do my best to still fulfill them asap once everything is here!
Also I haven't forgotten about the digital rewards, it's on my To-Do list this week to finally distribute them!
Fulfillment has started! Tracking & Troubleshooting
Hello everyone! Super quick check-in for fulfillment. I'm done with grading the pins that are here already, and no more bad surprises as far as I can tell!
Now I'm beginning fulfillment. The order of fulfillment this time goes from small parcels to large ones, since many small pledges are here completely already while the larger ones are still waiting for remakes. Of course some smaller pledges are still waiting for remakes, so those will still be postponed by a bit. You will get notified with your tracking numbers soon.
Non-US orders will be dropped off as I go, while US orders will be sent in batches via Transglobal Express. Please read the backer only section for tracking.
Remakes have begun, failed payments & combining orders with upcomig summer sale
Hello hello everyone! First of all, the remakes have already started! These are the wip pictures that i got for confirmation. If you look at the sheets you can see that they sent the correct ones to the factory this time (with screenprint, with double pin backs, and less blotchy gradient prints). Let's pray that these will be good 😅🤞
But what I wanted to announce is something else entirely: there's an upcoming summer sale and since it takes place this soon after the fulfillment of Meowshrooms I thought I'd offer you combined shipping if you backed Meowshrooms and want to grab something from there too! The summer sale will not contain any Meowshroom related items this time so everything there is relatively overlap-free with this campaign. A sneak peek of some available items - if you missed any previous campaigns freebies, chances are that I'll have some leftovers of them in the summer sale, plus a lot of the magic tea party stuff because I have soooo many B-Grades of them @.@
The old Magic Tea Party sub-collections will be sold in sets and as B Grades, there will be lots of older freebie pins, filler pin lucky scoops or charms that i want to sell out and of course stickers! There's also a cross collab and returning backer incentive.
If you want me to delay the shipping so you can wait for the summer sale to save money on shipping, then do drop me a quick e-mail until July 3rd with the email address or name that you use for Backerkit. I'll wait with shipping your order and will charge you only the difference in shipping instead of the whole amount in the summer sale. Pins have arrived, but some have to be remade. Here‘s the plan! (and pic inside)
Hello everyone! Just two days ago I complained about pins being stuck in customs and today I suddenly got a huge parcel! Yay!
(The tea pins are missing from the picture because I‘m an idiot)
But as you can read in the title, a few things went wrong… namely the factory just straight up gave the first samples from last year into mass production and not the actual approved version 💀 It‘s most apparent in the golden waxcap that has the wrong cap color still (it‘s supposed to be like the small yellow mushroom). They didn‘t send me a picture of the mass produced version before shipping either…. Yeah…. Most of the rainbow cats had some changes between the first and final version. Some pins also are missing a pin post (portobello; thats why she‘s so off balance on the hoop) or missing screenprint layers (the yellow and pink ones have no highlights).
The good news is, there‘s a plan and it probably doesn‘t delay everything by toooo much. Since the parcel contained literal thousands of pins, I will be busy for a hot second with quality control, packing etc anyways. The two most popular pins, the ink cap and fly agaric cats, don‘t need remakes. Neither do the tea pins or any of the minis.
And the factory is already remaking the pins, and told me that it should only take 2-3 weeks. In those 2-3 weeks I can already start to fulfill the orders without the affected pins. So if you only backed few pins then chances are, your pins will be out soon! Your cards charge today I believe, and after that I‘ll give you some time to check your addresses while I grade the pins.
Tl;dr: anyone who backed Caesar Mushroom, Gold Waxcap, Rosy Bonnet, Parrot Waxcap or Portobello has to wait a bit for remakes. In the meantime I‘ll ship out everything else.
I hope you all still enjoy the other pins - I personally am extremely happy with the overall look of the pins, it just sucks that the details aren‘t right in this batch yet.
Brief Check-In! Pins are in customs... & cards charging soon
Hello everyone! Just a super quick sign of life - the pins have been shipped in the first week of June, but they haven't arrived yet unfortunately. I'm in touch with the shipping carrier but they've been hit by the customs inspection lottery it seems. I'll do my best to resolve this as quickly as I can.
That being said, I'm going to charge cards soon so there'll be enough time to fix the cards and then when fulfillment time finally rolls around, everything will be ready.
Hey all! super quick update. My manufacturer just told me that the pins are done and ready to be shipped! This can mean they'll be here anytime within the next 1-2 weeks 🥳

The only thing is that they informed me that some designs have a higher flaw rate than usual, and they agreed to remake them but will ship the current batch out to me anyways to avoid further delays. so for some pins there might still be insufficient quantity to fulfill all orders (although i have yet to see how bad they really are in bulk - I ordered so many extra that there might be no problem at all, and by the time fulfillment rolls around the rest may also be here. I'm optimistic for our scheduled fulfillment time!
Once the pins are here i will try my best to grade and prepack them asap, take some half decent pics and then charge the cards according to schedule and then fulfillment can finally start! Yay!
Also if you haven't seen: my next project is having a poll on the best cat color to go with a catnip pin. The cat will be a freebie on that campaign,I thought a few of you may appreciate them :D The poll closes in a few hours.
