Welcome to Admit One: A Reader's Club Collection, a series of collectible enamel pins inspired by vintage admission tickets and designed for every kind of reader. Each ticket grants entry into a different book club, celebrating the genres, reading habits, and bookish identities that bring us together.

Whether you're a late-night reader, a fantasy fanatic, a dystopian enthusiast, or proudly working your way through a never-ending TBR, there's a club with your name on it. Collect your favorites, display your memberships, and build a collection that tells the story of your reading life—one ticket at a time.

The Snarky Company is a women-owned, AAPI small business. I’ve been making pins since 2018, and over the years I’ve launched 12 successful crowdfunded campaigns — including Own Your Stigma, which raised over $200,000 with support from more than 5,000 backers and preorder customers, making it one of the most funded and backed enamel pin projects on Kickstarter.

I reside in Raleigh, NC with my fiancé and our two very spoiled dogs, Mochi and Yuzu. When I’m not working, you can usually find me lifting weights in the gym, reading romance and fantasy books, playing video games, hanging out with my pups, or on a quest to find the best Japanese food — especially matcha and hojicha lattes.

Each Reader's Club Ticket Pin measures approximately 1.5 inches and is designed to resemble a collectible admission ticket to your favorite corner of the book world.

While I'd love to create a ticket for every genre, sub-genre, and reader identity, that's simply not possible in a single collection. If these ticket pins prove popular, I'd love to return with a Part Two featuring even more clubs to join.

Core Genres: Explore the foundations of every reader's bookshelf, from epic fantasy and horror to romance, thrillers, and beyond. Due to time and production limitations, not every genre will receive its own ticket in this project, but these concepts showcase the vision of this section.

Subgenres - Dive deeper into the niches readers love most. You'll notice many of these clubs are romance subgenres, reflecting The Snarky Company's longtime focus on fantasy and romance readers. Not every subgenre in existence will be produced, but these clubs showcase some of the reader favorites we've already brought to life.

Reader Identities: Reading is personal, and these clubs celebrate the habits, experiences, and identities that shape the way we read. From mood readers and night owls to ever-growing TBRs and book hangovers, these pins are for the readers who see themselves in the stories they love.

Wildcard: Some ideas are simply too fun to fit into a single category. From bookish inside jokes and reader favorites to classic Snarky Co. themes, these wildcard clubs celebrate the quirky, unexpected, and delightfully chaotic designs that make this collection unique.

There are two options when it comes to adding 'add-on' items to your pledge:

1) You can navigate to the add-ons tab on this campaign page. If you choose to add an item to your pledge, when the campaign ends you will be charged for your pledge level and the add-on item. When you receive your survey the add-on item you purchased along with your pledge will automatically be in your order items list. Please note that some add-ons come with additional shipping costs due to size or weight. You won't pay those additional shipping fees at the time of your pledge, they will be paid within your survey post campaign.

2) You can choose just a pledge level, which you will be charged for when the campaign ends. When you receive your post campaign survey there will be an add-ons section that contains all the add-ons you see here. You can then add additional items in your survey and pay for those items and your shipping costs within your survey.

Please note that not all the available add-ons will appear here on the campaign page. Occasionally, add-on items are designed during or after the campaign and only make an appearance within the add-ons section of your survey.

IMPORTANT INFO - Shipping costs will be charged to you AFTER the campaign and SEPARATELY through your BackerKit survey.

Below you'll find shipping rates for different regions. These flat rates apply only to your pledge level, and are subject to changes depending upon shipping rates when the campaign ends. If there is a shipping increase it will only be between $1-$2.

June 7th - Project starts
June 21st - Project ends and initial pledges charged
July 7th - Surveys go out
July 21st - Surveys close
July 21st - Completed surveys charged for add-ons and shipping
July - September - All items ordered
Late October - Early November 2026 - Shipping Begins

Timelines are subject to change dependent upon unforeseen circumstances during the campaign and fulfillment process. If the timeline changes backers will be notified via campaign updates.
