As you may or may not know, in pre-production design/visualization, it is super helpful to create 3D renderings of characters. We went ahead and had a sculptor create the following maquette for Mendigo and wanted to see what you think!
The maquette was created with clay, but has been made to look like wood.
We’ve seen some questions regarding how add-ons will affect your shipping costs. We want this process to be as seamless as possible, so we’d like to clarify how we’re handling those charges.
Because the global logistics landscape can shift significantly over a year, it is difficult to guarantee exact rates today. However, we can confirm that all add-ons will utilize weight-based shipping rather than a flat rate per item.
What does this mean for you? Generally, shipping becomes more efficient as you add items. For example, if the shipping estimate for one T-shirt is $15, ordering two T-shirts will not result in a $30 charge. While the total shipping cost may increase slightly with weight, the cost per item will decrease.
As we finalize the exact weights for all our products and get closer to our shipping date (about a year from now), we will be very vocal about the final rates so there aren’t any surprises. We want you to have the full picture before any transition happens.
To be clear, we will not charge your cards for shipping until we are much closer to the actual fulfillment date. You can expect plenty of updates regarding shipping and other logistics well in advance of that charge, giving you time to review your order.

Fablehaven fans! Cameron here, director of the Fablehaven film. I wanted to share with you all, about what this campaign means for us. And if you stick around, a note on open auditions.
For those of you wondering: "Why Crowdfunding?" I wanted to say, this isn't to raise money for the film. We are already in pre-production, and the film is slated for release in 2027. This campaign, is a way of showing the world that you love Fablehaven. Every ticket that's pre-purchased here makes it possible for us to open more theaters near you, and to negotiate better deals during distribution. On top of that, every dollar spent now, we can use to make the movie even better.
