Tell Me if It Hurts - A Mothership Zine · 124 following
Three medical horror one shots to be dropped into a campaign (SPOILER ALERT):
Surgery Shopping Spree! - A highly injured party seeks suspiciously inexpensive care at Stitch Happens Surgeries, a subsidiary of STEINCorp. They can sell their organs to pay for surgery, but be beware of the side effects.
Catch That Kidney! - You have been hired by STEINCorp to reclaim a life-saving kidney from a patient whose check bounced. The morality of taking the kidney back flip-flops as more is revealed - the patient is an arms dealer selling to both sides. They’re secretly supporting freedom fighters by sabotaging weapons sent to the empire - but they’re funding medical experiments on war orphans, because the evil empire unleashed a kidney-killing virus.
ChatTherapist: Hallucination Free - Due to a clause in the contract with STEINCorp, players must attend a HR-mandated Stress Management course. They are locked in a room that turns into a Milgram-inspired group shock therapy where PCs are pitted against their grievances, traumas and each other.
Two wound and condition recovery storefronts that can be revisited later in the campaign: Stitch Happens Surgeries and InstaTherapy* *Treatment side effects may include hallucinations, nightmares, introduction of alien species, loss of organs, lactose intolerance, loss of depth perception, and teenage angst.
Handouts will include a patient intake form, a colleague feedback form, and a contract for kidney retrieval mission.
