Corruption, Transformations & Madness
Corruption is the physical, mental, and supernatural toll on heroes as they fight against the horrors plaguing their world.
Transformations are a combination of the hero's body slowly being altered by corruption and the powers they gain as part of that transformation.
Madness represents how the supernatural forces bearing down on the character warps their mind. Each madness has four stages of increasing severity.
Eldritch Hearts & Monsters
Eldritch Hearts are supernatural entities that warp the world and drive mortals mad when they manifest into reality. Each Eldritch Heart is tied into a transformation, and comes with malice features that can be used for any monster band you would like.
Each Eldritch Heart comes with its own dedicated monster band that matches its themes, abilities and aesthetics. Use these new monsters to strike terror deep in the hearts of the heroes!

This supplement is for players and directors who want to add an extra level of progression and danger to their campaigns. Corruption Rules: A long-form system where heroes have to decide if they wish to spend precious respites fighting against corruption, or embrace it at the cost of potentially losing themselves.
8 Corruption Transformations: Become a Stormgaunt and gain its mastery over lightning and the seas. Rage as a Blood-Coated Beast and use your own blood to slay your foes. Build a cult as a Notion of Divinity and use your minions for power.
8 Unique Madnesses: Struggle to tell what's real as Hallucinations plague your mind, or try to discern what thoughts are your own as The Voice constantly speaks to you.
8 Eldritch Hearts: Origins of corruption. When these otherworldly entities manifest in reality, they warp the world around them, providing unique challenges for heroes including modifying montages and providing unique malice abilities to monsters.
4 Complications: Are you a Pure Soul who is naturally resistant to the corruption of the world, or are you a Seeker of Power willing to pay any price for the strength you seek?
5 Intoxicants: Do you drown your sorrows and stave off the madness with Alcohol? Would you rather numb everything and resist corruption under the influence of Beastblessing?
