Nat19 is a company dedicated to producing new TTRPG content based in its exclusive JRPG-inspired setting, Somnus Domina! We are a collection of writers, performers, professional voice actors, and improvisers who run live games in our setting with high production values and try to share a love of storytelling and anime/JRPG-inspired content!

Somnus Domina is a world that fuses both mecha and fantasy elements, which can house traditional adventures just as easily as space-faring or super robot ones! It is a diverse setting filled with in-depth factions, powerful artifacts, new gods, and rich story-focused set pieces. Everything you find in our books is geared to inspire fun combat and creative storytelling!

Before we get into everything else, we wanted to put up front that NO AI is used at any stage in the creation of this product or campaign. Nat19 only supports human artists.

On previous projects, we have had issues with changing US tariff policies. For this project, regardless of where anything is manufactured, we will offset all tariffs for fulfillment and account for them during production.

This 110-page book is our third quarterly splash book for 2026! This book continues to expand the content from Somnus Domina, where you can find dragons, mechs, spirits, and much more! The Depths of Charity focuses on spirits, phantoms, the sea, ocean, and the deities/planes tied to those elements.

This book contains the following:

Our 600+ page setting guide, Lyre’s Guide to Retia, serves as the foundation for much of the content we’ve created. It contains new classes, dozens of subclasses, hundreds of spells, feats, and over 30 new races. The PDF is included with all tiers on this project, so you will get it for free alongside everything else!

Starting in 2025, Nat19 has produced a "splash book" every three months. These splash books each pick a theme to focus on (usually a god or set of gods from Somnus Domina, and their domina, realms, influences), then provide monsters, classes, subclasses, races and subraces, and much more that fit into that theme, as well as offer new options to play within them. These books have proven to be best-selling titles on DTRPG, often holding the #1 spot on the site for weeks at a time.

We plan to continue releasing these splash books every 3 months and run a BackerKit campaign like this one around each release to get physical copies! Returning customers can continue to build on the wealth of content provided for our setting, which can also be used at any table they wish!

5.19th Edition (or just 19th Edition) is a subsystem used in Nat19’s games and has received great reception from other players and tables since its release! Alongside many new base class features and a focus on modular character building, it focuses on new rules that keep players involved at every step of play (even while dying), new movement types and terrains, tools for both players and GMs to better challenge and test each other, and new conditions and mechanics. Most importantly, it includes the Legacy Trait systems for races, allowing highly customizable character creation!

The 19th Edition ruleset is entirely compatible with 5th Edition games, and its rules/NPCs/systems can be used discreetly and individually without fully adopting the entire system. It is not designed with the 2024 ruleset in mind; however, compatibility with it is at the discretion of the GM and their table.

Our composer creates vibrant soundtracks for our games, which serve as the backing tracks for our games and adventures. You can get your hands on the 14-track OST for Gilligan's Grave, or the 13-track Echoes of Sermonway OST for high-fantasy games!

The Depths of Charity is already complete! Once the campaign is complete, there will be a 14-day period where funds are collected by BackerKit, then our BackerKit Surveys will be sent out. You will have immediate access to the Depths of Charity PDF here and on DriveThruRPG as we move into physical fulfillment.

Physical fulfillment will involve placing manufacturing orders for all our merch, dice, etc that need to be made, and most importantly, the books. If there are Executive Credit backers who need a credit in the book, and if any are pay-over-time backers, we will need to wait until they pay out to send the books to manufacturing. Otherwise, the books are done basically immediately.

Below a certain sales threshold, books will be printed in the US through our PoD services and shipped from there by us. However, if we pass the 10k mark in sales, we will switch to a production house that can print much higher-quality books, and they'll handle shipping and delivery on our behalf!

After receiving our funds, we will be almost entirely ready to begin production - once pay-over-time Backers with in-book credits pay out, and items are manufactured, we'll be ready to ship. Depending on what needs to be produced, this could take anywhere from 2-4 months of prep, proofreading, and preparing everything (during which time PDFs and digital goods will be readily available).
