The Things That Keep Us and Last Words Are Never Enough, two meditative and existential solo journaling games, brought together in a tête-bêche duology.

Dylan Baird and I (Sadie Pasley) are teaming up to bring you In The End, a tête-bêche duology comprised of our solo journaling games, Last Words Are Never Enough and The Things That Keep Us. These games are sincere meditative experiences with themes of connection and loss.

Last Words Are Never Enough
"This game is a solo RPG about the protagonist dying at the end of their story. This Solo-RPG includes complicated themes of death, loss, grief, and stories left unfinished."

The Things That Keep Us
"The Things That Keep Us is a solo journaling game about the objects in our lives that help us persevere."
Inhabit a cherished item, bringing comfort and strength to someone until they no longer need your help or until your form gives out.

What else can I tell you about the project so far?
Both game texts are finished and edited, and I am working on art, layout, etc. for the printed duology. The format of the duology will be a top bound, 6"x6" square tête-bêche. This allows each game to have its own paired front cover - there will be no back cover. Additional items are in the works to accompany the game - if you have any requests, feel free to email [email protected] and I will take it into consideration!

Thanks for following the project!
