Here's just some of what you can expect from the upcoming High Fantasy - A 4d20 System Roleplaying Game. (In no particular order.)

  • A basic set of four 20-page booklets that cover the elemental and primary aspects of the game and its setting.

  • An accompanying zine called Rolling Papers which will offer additional rules and commentary on the the 4d20 system, High Fantasy, and other relatable material. An issue #0 and a subscription to the Rolling Papers zine will be stretch goals as well.

  • A dime bag -- wait -- we mean dice bag stretch goal.

  • A rolling tray (not to be confused with your run-of-the-mill dice trays) stretch goal.

  • Some conversion rules to add High Fantasy elements to other roleplaying games.

  • A map of the High Fantasy setting -- The Realm of Kanabia.

  • A "Dope Strain" (in other words, "deluxe edition") of High Fantasy that combines the booklets and includes additional material stretch goal.

  • ...and much, much more!

But, wait! There's more!

We want to get a couple of stretch goals going before the official launch of the BackerKit crowdfunding campaign. What are they, you ask?

Originally we were set to launch on 4/20/24, but it was decided to reschedule the crowdfunding campaign to give this project the time and attention that it deserves. The new launch date of the High Fantasy - A 4d20 System Roleplaying Game was 4/20/25. But, then we (eventually) realized that fell on Easter Sunday (which is probably not a good day to launch a cannabis inspired roleplaying game crowdfunding campaign) and the whole tariff thing going on that has put some of our original plans into limbo, if not squashed completely. But! We're still going to launch this thing on our before 4/20/26. It just means that we have more time to fine tune it all.

So, hit that Follow button and get notified when the the campaign launches. Just doob it!

We want to get a couple of stretch goals going before the official launch of the BackerKit crowdfunding campaign. What are they, you ask?

  • If the 4d20 system Facebook page AND Ølvl media Facebook page manage to reach 420 followers before the launch of the BackerKit campaign, all backers with physical rewards will receive a 420 system sticker.

  • If the Ølvl media X (Twitter) account reaches 420 followers before the launch of the BackerKit campaign, all backers with physical rewards will receive a High Roller sticker.

  • If the High Fantasy Roleplaying Game teaser page (the page that you're on now) gets 420 followers before the launch of the BackerKit campaign, all backers with physical rewards will receive a Green Wizard sticker.

Originally, we were set to launch on 4/20/24, but it was decided to reschedule the crowdfunding campaign to later in the year to give this project the time and attention that it deserves. But...! The release date of High Fantasy Roleplaying Game has not been delayed. We still have a release date of the finished product by 4/20/25. So, that means that there will be less of a wait between the conclusion of the BackerKit campaign and when the product gets into your hands.

Laughing d20 Enamel Pin Add-On Unlocked!
Hey, hey, awesome backers!

We did it. We reached 37 backers to unlock the Laughing d20 (or Catacombs & Comedians mascot) enamel pin!

Remember the deal...?

Based on the Laughing d20 mascot for Catacombs & Comedians, the live actual-play D&D show performed at comedy clubs and game conventions, this 1" enamel pin encapsulates the unbridled joy and hilarity that tabletop roleplaying games can provide. Catacombs & Comedians is another avenue in which Ølvl media explores and expands the Tabletop Roleplaying Game Community. Backers have an opportunity to make this Laughing d20 pin available as an "Add On" for purchase for only $9.

This Bonus Roll (or Stretch Goal) will be unlocked when there are 37 backers. Why 37? Because 37 is a funny number. Don't take our word for it. Check out the article, 37 Is Objectively the Funniest Number.

So, if you want to add this adorable laughing d20 to your enamel pin collection, head on back and check out the Add-On section and add it on.

Now, the second "stretch goal." We need 338 more backers and/or folks signed up to be notified of Ølvl media's upcoming High Fantasy - A 4d20 System Roleplaying Game. It can be done. Remember, it's the combined total of backers to this campaign AND sign-ups to be notified of the High Fantasy launch. So, spread the word.

As always, thank you for your support, and may you make all of your saving throws.
