Logline

Do you like action, adventure, romantic tension, and a good villain people would love to hate Yes, well then the adventures of the secret cowboy is for you

When young Matthew Walker finds his father Tony Walker shot and killed by the outlaw Billy Bob Tellson, he dons a mask and becomes The Secret Cowboy, vowing to bring Tellson to justice and clean up the crime ridden West.

The Style

The Adventures of The Secret Cowboy is an animated radio show in a hybrid format that combines the rich, immersive storytelling and sound design of classic radio dramas with the expressive visuals of animation. While the animation adds visual flair and character, the show is driven by dialogue, narration, and sound effects, making it feel like you’re stepping into a living radio play.

22-minute episodes in 2D rig animation it's episodic and serialized mix like it's a story of the week or month or year depends on how long it takes to make an episode but billy bob Tellson alway escape setting up the next episode

Characters

Matthew Walker aka The Secret Cowboy

After his father is murdered by Billy Bob Tellson, Matthew took up the mantle of the secret cowboy to track him down. Wearing his father's buscadero gun belt as a reminder that life is precious, Matthew commits to justice without cruelty.

No Killing: He only shoots to wound, disarm by shooting the gun clean out of outlaws hands, or disable never to kill.

No Drinking or Smoking: He maintains a clean, disciplined image.

Saloon Code: He only enters saloons for fights, showdowns, or investigations never for pleasure.

Violence is a Last Resort: Strategic and controlled in every move.

Secret Identity: No one ever unmasks him. If he's captured by outlaws or lawman, he always escapes before his identity is revealed.

Internal Conflict: He often questions whether he’s honoring his father’s legacy the right way.



Billy Bob Tellson

An outlaw and the series main antagonist. Put in jail by Tony Walker, he escaped 25 years later and murdered him in cold blood. Now he leads a dangerous gang but never forgets who put him behind bars.

Never Learns the Truth: Billy Bob must never discover the Secret Cowboy is Matthew Walker.

Always Escapes: At the end of each episode, no matter the plan, Billy Bob slips away.

Charming but Ruthless: He’s smooth talking, theatrical, and has a twisted code of honor; he avoids harming women or children but he will kill, rob, blackmail anyone without a second thought.

Egotistical and Intelligent: He’s clever but his pride often leads to his downfall.

Commands a Wild Gang: His men are chaotic, brutal, and barely under his control.

Billy bob Tellson have meltdowns when he gang failed to capture the secret cowboy or kill the secret cowboy


Tony Walker

Matthew’s father and the original Secret Cowboy. After a lifetime of justice, he became a sheriff but he was gunned down by Billy Bob Tellson. In his final moments, he revealed his secret to Matthew and passed the torch


Speedy Bullet ( The Secret Cowboy horse )

Speedy Bullet is The Secret Cowboy horse but treated as an equal partner not master and pet

Speedy Bullet is loyal only to The Secret Cowboy no other rider can truly control him

The Secret Cowboy cares for Speedy Bullet’s safety above all else and Speedy Bullet trusts his rider completely


Speedy Bullet is one of the fastest horses in the Wild West outrunning almost any threat.


Speedy Bullet does not spook from gunshots, fire or chaos he charges in when justice calls


Even without The Secret Cowboy Speedy Bullet can act on his own to protect him or help others in need.



Speedy Bullet often appears at the right moment carrying The Secret Cowboy into battle or rescuing him


Sometime Speedy Bullet plays a direct role in saving The Secret Cowboy life


The Secret Cowboy never treats Speedy Bullet as just transportation their partnership is sacred



Speedy Bullet represents freedom, loyalty, and unstoppable spirit embodying the same ideals as The Secret Cowboy


Speed demon ( Billy Bob Tellson horse )

Billy Bob treats Speed Demon as property not a partner

Speed Demon is meaner then other horses he'll bites, kicks, The Tellson gang

Where Speedy Bullet is brave and loyal, Speed Demon is vicious and unpredictable.


Speed Demon is strong and intimidating, but not as fast or clever as Speedy Bullet.


Outlaws and townsfolk alike are afraid of Speed Demon’s aggressive behavior

Liam Henryson

The brains of the Tellson Gang, Liam is always planning the next heist or ambush, ensuring Billy Bob Tellson stays one step ahead of the law. Calculating and impatient, he values intelligence above all else.

Master Planner: Always thinking three moves ahead, using strategy over brute force.

Distrust of Mistakes: Has little patience for errors and often clashes with Rusty’s impulsiveness.

Secretive Nature: Rarely reveals full plans even to the gang, keeping an air of mystery.



Rusty Bobbson

The gang’s muscle and wildcard, Rusty thrives on chaos and raw courage. Impulsive and loud, he often jumps into danger before thinking, relying on luck and strength.

Reckless Bravery: Charges into fights without hesitation, sometimes saving the gang by sheer force.

Loyalty Above All: Fiercely loyal to Billy Bob and the gang, even when others doubt him.

Loves dares and stunts, often exaggerating his feats afterward.

Noah Mateoson

The smooth talking con artist of the gang, Noah manipulates, negotiates, and charms to get the gang out of tricky situations.

Quick talker: Can talk his way into or out of nearly any situation.

Cautious Cowardice: Will charm first, flee if necessary, and prefers brains over brawn.

Mediator Role: Often settles disputes between Liam’s planning and Rusty’s impulsiveness.

Jame Theodson


The gang’s silent observer, Jame watches and analyzes, acting only when necessary. Calm and sarcastic, he often goes unnoticed until it’s too late for enemies.

World-building

The show is set in the old west 1860 to 1890 the west is over run by outlaws but the secret cowboy is here to fix that

A typical episode of The Adventures Of The Secret Cowboy goes like this: Matthew Walker arrives in town dressed in his everyday clothes riding his horse, Speedy Bullet. Soon he learns of a crime and changes into his Secret Cowboy costume to face the outlaws of the week always led by Billy Bob Tellson by the end Billy Bob Tellson manages to escape once again but his gang is captured and sent to jail The Secret Cowboy continues his relentless pursuit of Tellson, determined to bring him to justice.

Why this need to be a show

While I was creating The Adventures Of The Secret Cowboy, I was thinking that there has never been an Old West superhero. The Lone Ranger came close, but he didn’t have a secret identity or a recurring villain, so I thought, why not make one
