Going to be reworking some of these to fit inside shapes. I may do a recessed background with a transparent fill. Still playing with the idea either way. The rabbit is the only one I have mostly finished at this point. I shrunk it down and now I am also thinking I want to have maybe a lantern or something hanging from it. These may end up being 2 inches (tip to tip) if I have too many details to keep them 1.5 inches.
I won't get these finished any time soon since I keep making them more and more complicated lol. Just wanted to update since my plan has already shifted.

Was also considering giving the cat as a freebie for people who buy the full set of 12. I will obviously have to price this out first, but I think that's a pretty good reward. And yes, people would be able to purchase it separately.
I think I will also add some mini pins like stars, chinese lanterns and coins.
Constellations & Zodiac Stuff Planned for Pintopia
Since I already had this made I'm sticking to the celestial stuff but also doing Zodiac with it. Trying to see how fast I can knock out all 12 of these today so I can resume things I need to do and not be as unprepared.
Nebula is the dragon, and no, neither Buster nor Murphy are the dog even though I did consider it. Maybe it can be a stretch goal or something, but Nebula already messes with the white/pink/gold color scheme I have planned. Yes, chow chows have blue tongues but again I just wanted a limited color palette for these. Coin will be gold with recessed metal, not filled yellow as you see here.
These are sketches and subject to change because I am super bad at flowers and I know the rat ears need some work.
Anyways, there will be NO PLUSH from me for this Pintopia. Just pins. I spent $25k on my project this year and still have to pay off that debt. At least the plush are cute. = X
I will update the banner this evening if I do achieve my goal and knock everything out. Manufacturers are on break from Oct 1st-5th anyways, so I can't really do much with my recently finished project until funds are sent and they return anyways.
If you have suggestions on what the freebie design should be, lmk! I haven't really thought too hard about it.

Update 9/30/2026: I always just assume I have more time than I do. I did at least get the dragon done after redrawing it like 80 times. On to other animals!
I want to have this done well in advance so I am starting now, but working on some designs for a pin and plush project waaaaay later this year. I need time to prototype a dragon plush (and if it doesn't go well it'll just be a pins project!)
I don't know how many pins I want to make just yet but I'll be doing a bunch of mini emote pins. Will also need to find out how tiny I can make these before I finalize them. Current plans for this consists of about 10 pins, but I am open to suggestions. Won't guarantee I make them if I struggle to conceptualize it properly, but since I have 7 months to work on these, I am open to trying for the moment.
Currently just have angry, some sort of happy emotion and a sad one (that I already want to redraw). Will also probably chop these up a bit to make into discord emotes because why not?
Was also considering engravable pet tags but I am still doing research on that. We'll see. :D
