A long-time Vegas headiner, George Wallace's film and TV credits include Batman Forever, The Ladykillers, Punchline, Hacks, Seinfeld and recently, Norman Lear's final project, the critically-acclaimed series Clean Slate, which he also produced.

Why This Film? Modern Meets Nostalgic

I grew up loving the family adventure films of the 80s — stories that mixed comedy, heart, and magic. With Garage Sale, I aim to capture that same sense of warmth and humor in a story about hope, redemption, and family connection.

I bring years of improv comedy training to my directing, which shapes the tone of this film. My goal is to create a piece that’s funny, heartfelt, and visually rich—a story that lifts spirits while staying grounded in authentic family dynamics.

Why Now? We Need to Laugh!

At a time when the world needs humanity, humor, warmth and heart more than anything, Garage Sale provides that! Through laughter, we release our anxiety, frustrations and worries - even if just for a moment. AND, this is a film about RESILIENCE. Young Dillon is faced with difficult circumstances but with the help of his family, he finds the courage to overcome his fears. The need for resilience in the face of adversity is extremely relatable, especially now.

I’m thrilled to collaborate with legendary comedian George Wallace as Grandpa. His singular mix of humor, warmth, and authenticity makes him the perfect actor to embody the role and bring this story to life.
