Requiem for Faith
A dark fantasy RPG shaped by story, choice, and consequence
Requiem for Faith is a story-driven RPG set in a world where faith is both a weapon and a curse
Players will face moral decisions, intense battles, and a crumbling belief system that slowly reveals its true cost
Developed by a very small indie team of one to two developers, this project focuses on emotional storytelling, carefully designed systems, and a strong visual identity

About the Game
Requiem for Faith is a dark fantasy role-playing game where every decision matters
The story follows a holy knight bound by duty, belief, and doubt, as the world around her begins to fracture
This is a game about loyalty, loss, and the moment when faith begins to break
Your choices shape how characters respond to you, how the story unfolds, and what kind of person the protagonist ultimately becomes

Core Features
• Story-driven narrative with branching choices
 • Consequences that carry across character relationships and key story events
 • Turn-based combat with custom systems focused on timing, risk, and player intent
 • A dark fantasy world inspired by religious symbolism and moral conflict
 • Original music and handcrafted environments

Combat System
Combat in Requiem for Faith is designed to feel deliberate and personal
Battles emphasize timing, decision-making, and understanding enemy intent rather than simple number optimization
Players are encouraged to read the flow of combat, react carefully, and accept the consequences of mistakes
The goal is tension, not spectacle
 Every fight should feel earned

Art Direction
All in-game pixel art is fully created by human artists and designed by hand from start to finish
Character illustrations currently use a hybrid workflow during early development
Characters are designed and composed by hand, while AI-assisted coloring and line refinement are used as a temporary solution due to limited resources
One of the primary goals of this campaign is to fund professional artists to redraw and finalize all character illustrations
This will ensure a fully hand-crafted and visually consistent art style for the final release

Why We’re Crowdfunding
This campaign exists to support three core areas
First, to fund professional character illustration so all artwork can be fully hand-drawn by artists
Second, to support continued development time and system refinement
Third, to help with promotion and visibility so the game can reach the audience it deserves
This is not about expanding scope
It’s about finishing the game with care, clarity, and consistency

Use of Funds
Funds raised through this campaign will be used for
• Hiring professional artists for character illustrations
 • Ongoing game development and system refinement
 • Music, sound, and narrative polish
 • Promotion and outreach
 • Development time required to bring the project to completion

Development Status
Requiem for Faith is actively in development
Core systems are implemented
 Narrative structure is defined
Art direction and character identity are established
This campaign helps ensure the remaining work can be completed without compromising quality or vision

Estimated Delivery
The current estimated delivery for the full release is TBD
A clearer timeline will be shared as development progresses and funding goals are reached
Regular updates will be provided throughout development

Closing Statement
We believe meaningful games aren’t defined by team size or technology
They’re defined by clarity of vision, honesty in craft, and respect for the people who choose to support them
Thank you for taking the time to look at Requiem for Faith
Your support helps turn this project into the game it deserves to become
