We're officially one week away from launch day.
Over the past few months, this project has gone from an idea living in my head to a physical deck sitting in my hands, and honestly, that's still a little surreal.
The Hell of It Oracle is a 42-card system built around themes of power, identity, exploitation, redemption, choice, and the strange ways we navigate the systems around us—and within us.
This week I'll be sharing more card previews, behind-the-scenes content, and a few of my favorite ways to work with the deck as we count down to launch.

The Proof Has Arrived
The first physical proof of The Hell of It Oracle has arrived.
This is not the final product. This is the checkpoint.
A proof exists for one reason: to confirm that what was designed digitally survives contact with reality. Color accuracy. Alignment. Card feel. Print integrity. The boring, necessary things that determine whether a system actually holds once it’s physical.
Right now, everything is being reviewed carefully before full production proceeds.
This initial production step focuses on the standard tuckbox edition, allowing the deck to move forward with stability and clear timelines. All artwork, layout, and system architecture are complete
The BackerKit campaign supports what comes next:
- Expanded production
- The premium rigid box edition
- Packaging, assembly, and fulfillment
- Getting the deck into circulation responsibly
Every edition contains the same complete deck. The difference is the container—not the system inside it.
Launching at this stage allows for transparency, real photography, and fewer unknowns. Updates will continue as each phase clears its checks.
This project is no longer hypothetical. It’s being inspected, adjusted if needed, and prepared to move forward.
