Hello lovely friends! I hope you're having a lovely June so far!
I bring some good things to share with some wonderful pin photos, but also some unfortunate news of quality issues causing some delays.
Let's tackle the unfortunate bad news first. Most orders with character pins will be delayed. The Wispwood character pins have been completed, but in the factories double checking before shipping them out to me, they found there was an issue in production leaving a very large number of pins with flaws. The pins had finished all of their production and gotten to the plating process (this is the stage where they add the gold plating to the metal bits to really make it shine!) and unfortunately an error occurred that made a very large portion of the pins oxidize. When pins oxidize it ruins the shine and causes large areas of discolored metal, browns and even greens. This is absolutely never the quality I want to deliver, nor the quality you expect and paid for! I'm working closely with the manufacturer to fix the pins, they are going to try and remove the bad plating and replate the pins, but if that doesn't work, the pins will need to be remade.
I know that the pins were expected to arrive to me this month so I could start shipping them out so the delay this late in the game really bites and I apologize immensely. It's still unclear how many good pins survived this ordeal but the factory is still shipping all of the good ones to me asap so I can fulfill what orders I can.
Unfortunately this means that most of the character pins will not ship to me till most likely early August. So anyone who backed for characters may have to wait till I receive those. I will fulfill as many as I can from the pins that did turn out in this first batch, but unfortunately it isn't many. I will of course keep you all in the loop if that estimate changes in any form!
While most of the pins have issues, luckily there have still been some good photos of some of the good pins!
What about selling pins at events? I still have the next couple months with a lot of events that I had hoped to have all of these pins for, but now since unfortunately that's not the case, I'll be bringing what I can spare. I'll first be going through the pins that I do have, and setting aside the ones that can fulfill and fulfill those and getting those shipped out. Conventions are honestly and truly my bread and butter and where I'm able to make the most to keep doing what I'm doing, so having inventory for these events is so so important for me. The total number of pins that I have ordered was enough to cover me for events and the pledged pins, and all pins will be fulfilled when I have all of the pins to do so.
See me at an event and I have the pins you ordered? Let me know! I am more then happy to give you part of your order if I see you at an event, just ask! I can just make a note in my system to not shop that pin later.
And onto the good news!
The inventory pins are shipping to me soon! Since I used a separate factory for the inventory item pins, these pins were unaffected by the same issues. If you only backed for inventory pins your pins should still be shipping out later this month/early July! The photos I've seen of these pins look lovely and I look forward to getting them all into my hands so I can sort, check, and ship them out to their homes! While I'm not looking forward to all of the time it'll take to quality check this many tiny pins, I'm greatly looking forward to getting to put them in their little sets!
Want to support more of my work? After designing all of these pins and getting excited about the small pins, I wanted to make more! So launching soon (in just a few days!) I'm running a (much smaller!) pin project around small pins of wonderful mythological critters! I'm back with a little update of progress photos cause I think they're fun! I've officially received the freebie pins so I've been working on quality checking them all so they're good to go when the rest of the pins make their way to me.

My manufacturer for the character pins has been lovely and checking in on colors with me in the process, and I get more excited for these guys with every photo.
We're still on time to have shipping going out mid/late next month as long as all keeps going well, but as always I'll be sure to let you know if anything comes up that might change that.

Wanted to give an update on some of the pins, though unfortunately not as many as I hoped yet!
Have some finished mini pins! The glow on the wisp pin is stunning and two toned. Purple glow on the outside and a bright blue in the inner white. These are pictures directly from my manu so I dont have them in hand just yet for better photos, but these guys are done and im so stoked about their perfect little size and excited to get to have them in my hands soon!
Next up, stickers!
Stickers are in my hands and are SO lovely. Anyone who just ordered Stickers and no pins or bonus pins should expect their orders soon!
If youre at FWA this weekend ill also have a handful of each sticker with me to sell! 💜
As for the rest of the pins they are all still in varying states of progress, colors have all been locked in and hoping to get some in progress shots soon.
There was a holiday i was unaware of so thay did put a little bit of a delay on production. Currently hoping thay pins will get to me mid June so I can ship them all but the end of the month. Ill be sure to make another post if this changes, but so far my manufacturers say they should be able to meet this deadline still! Worst case scenario and they arrive to me late June ill pack them up and bring them with my to Anthrocon and package them from behind the table while I vend.

It's been a sec since I've had an update, but I promise things are still moving behind the scenes!
I've been working away with communications with my manufacturers for the pins and working on making sure all of the colors are juust right with having some samples made before sending them in for full production. Due to a manufacturer holiday that I wasn't away of it did put the schedule a little behind where I hoped, but I don't think this will affect the pins making their ways to you later in the end as I still have some wiggle room with my dates!
While I dont have any fully finished samples yet to show, and unfortunately none of the main adventuring cast, I am excited to show off a progress wip I got of two of the collab pins! They're starting to get their colors! This is the start of colors being added before they get polished down and screenprint added. As soon as I get some photos of them at their next stages I'll put up another update!
I'm hoping to see some samples of some of the other pins soon, especially the characters so I can make sure that everything is golden before the mass production!
Meanwhile that is getting settled, I've gotten all of the stickers and sticker sheets ordered so those should be getting to me in the next week or two! I'll have PLENTY for the campaign set aside and then I'll be able to bring the rest to the conventions I've got coming up to also help show off wispwood goodies!

I've also been working away on the backing cards! I've got an idea in mind that I can't quite seem to make just right, but we'll have 2 different backing cards,m one for the adventurers and one for the inventory sets so I can make sure they frame and compliment the pins well for display.

And last but not least, surveys will lock next friday the 24th, and cards will be charged! All the counts from the surveys help me lock in my final numbers to order as well as get the additional funds from add-ons to cover any additional costs of production!

Sorry it's been a bit since an update, I kept wanting to wait till I had enough things to share for an update but things have been a bit hectic in my life!
I'm happy to share that surveys will be going out soon! My hope is by the end of next week to have all of the surveys out. I've finally finished most of the visuals for all of the separated pin sections, what they'll look like as their little sets, as well as the individual characters. Since there are SO many pin options this round I want to make sure that it's as clear as possible when picking your options so there's no mistakes and no one accidentally ends up with the wrong pin set.
And of course an update on Vesper! I've been playing with the design off and on and finally nailed it down!
I felt that if she was catching a star it should be a shooting star! I'm still needing to finalize the colors on the mini pins but I will absolutely have those done before surveys go out!
And some samples have been ordered! I want to test the glow effects of some pins as well as make sure the colors are right before sending in the full order. As soon as I get those samples I'll be sure to share an update with photos and more on the process!
Everything is still running on schedule, but I want to be completely transparent that I have some life situations that might slow me down a little. If you follow me anywhere on social media or see me at cons, you've probably heard about my cat Kirby. Unfortunately his health has always been rocky, and it's gotten to the point where saying goodbye to him soon is what's best for him so he doesn't have to suffer. It's a really hard place for me to be, and while I'm doing my very best to keep up with everything, it might slow me down a little. At this time I don't expect any delays, but If that changes I'll be sure to post and update and let you all know right away.

We're at the final stretch, just over 24 hours remaining on Pintopia! We've already gone past my expectations for the initial goals of the project, but we've still got 24 hours to see how far we can go!
I've finished all of the stickers as well! (Finally!) I didn't expect to go into pintopia dealing with a carpal tunnel flare-up so I apologize for the wait on these! Of course if you have any questions about the stickers please let me know!
There's also been a few adjustments due to requests, like I've added a sticker bundle pledge level in case you're not looking for pins and would rather just get stickers only.

Vinyl Sticker Sheets - Add-on for 8 Each
Will-O-Wisp Mini Pin - Added as an Add-On for those that didn't pladge in the first 48 hours! (Or for those that want an extra!)
And to have full transparency on those last secret unlocks, I've released Work In Progress shots of them both, meet the WIP versions of Vesper the Wolf and Bron the Goat!
I fully recognize that they're absolutely a stretch for the project to reach, but gotta shoot for the stars right?
If we don't reach their unlock goals don't fret! I love the world of Wispwood and don't plan on this being the only installment set in this magical world so they'll have a chance to return someday!
