I have my survey, and extra money added to the pledge above the tier amount DOES show up as a credit there! I was able to choose all the specific add-ons I wanted with no trouble, coming from the credit from money I pledged above the tier amount.
(Maybe it was a typo with "not" instead of "now" in the post?)

Just wanting to confirm, if we added extra money to our pledge than what was required for a tier, it will not show up as a credit?
