Błażej “Qrjusz” Kurowski is a comics creator and illustrator from Łódź, Poland. He is the author of the sci-fi series Stachanowiec in Space, blending retro-futurism, manga influences, and Eastern European sensibility. His work has appeared in numerous anthologies and zines, including Fenix, Profanum, and Rocznik Fantastyczny. When not drawing, he works as a consultant and drinks unreasonable amounts of green tea. He believes space exploration and independent comics are equally acts of optimism.
