Born a poor goblin of the Grendelby family in the Sadow Haven mountians. Grendelby Esquire was able to usurp "his royal majesty" and become the goblin king, donning the crown at just 9 years old (27 in human years). However, Grendelby's thrist for power couldn't be sated as his conquest to become the supreme ruler of all things explosive (and edible) drove him to near insanity.
Thought to be long dead for centuries due to a massive explosion - goblin, kobold, and even mankind began to worship him as the canonized saint of Feast and Fire.
Now, recently and mysteriously returned from the voids of time, Grendelby walks amongst us once again! Some fear him while others worship him as a God, earning him the rightful title of The Goblin Lord.
Where Grendelby was all of this time remains a mystery to this day; however, there are whispers that he made a deal with the big red God Vor for immortality in exchange for his faithful devotion to creating havoc and his endless pursuit of explosives.
