I have a first-class degree in filmmaking BA (Hons), as well as a PGCE.
I draw inspiration from a wide range of fields from psychology and philosophy to science and spirituality; I have a holistic practice that draws on ancient and modern wisdom across many disciplines. By seeing the world through many lenses, we can better understand ourselves, others and the world around us.
I'm a multi-hyphenate artist working primarily with film. I've worked as a writer, director, actor, cam op, soundie, dit, editor, colourist, and vfx artist. My passion is writing and directing, but I mainly work as an editor.
I'm also the co-creator of Spoon & Driver, a surreal comedy skit show and series. We've got sketches available to watch online and will soon be entering production for the pilot for our magical-realism series set in the world of Spoon & Driver.
I've helped to create short films, music videos, promotional and showcase material, as well as being editor of the feature documentary Mirella, directed by Oliver Bruck.
I co-founded Kingston Film Festival (now KIFF—Kingston International Film Festival) with 5 friends and recent graduates from Kingston School of Arts BA and MA filmmaking programs. Our slogan was, "Students and beyond".
I worked as Creative Technical Lead, designing our branding, creating graphics, and building our website.
I've taught film across primary, secondary and sixth-form levels, as well as mentoring for university students and workshops for all walks of life.
I also deliver workshops and 1 on 1 sessions looking at our personal journeys and creative pursuits. I focus on storytelling through the lenses of psychology, ancient wisdom and mindfulness—including Taoism, philosophy, communication skills and meta-cognition.
