Atlas Dance Collective is a project-based dance company geared towards providing professional performance, choreographic, and teaching opportunities to its members and the larger arts community.
WHITNEY FINCH is the director and founder of Atlas Dance Collective (Est. 2018). She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Modern Dance along with a Minor in Earth Science from Utah Valley University (2017). Since graduating, Whitney taught beginning college-level dance classes as an adjunct faculty member at UVU (2019-2021). She has continued her training, expanded her professional network, and presented choreography at various dance intensives and/or festivals throughout the nation. Whitney performed professionally for Shrink The Giant (2025), One Evolution Entertainment's live concert "Rock With You - The Michael Jackson Tribute" (2024), Little Angry Tiger (2022-2023), The Penguin Lady Dance Collective (2017 & 2019), 90&9's production of "FIGHTER" (2018), BRINE (2018-2019), Lagoon Entertainment (2019), and was previously offered a position on Diavolo Architecture in Motion's Institute/VOLO Program in Los Angeles, California. In addition to professionally dancing, producing shows, directing, and being an adjunct professor, Whitney teaches dance to the youth as a freelance instructor throughout Utah to various independent artists, studios, companies, and organizations that invite her to teach and/or choreograph.
