Initially started watching Cinema Therapy because I'm a fan of the channel Cinema Wins, who always looks on the positive side of things, and actually managed to get me to love movies more than I already did. I wasn't expecting to get life advice from a couple of strangers that would actually affect my life, but I did.

This was the line that was like a spark to the powder keg. When I first started watching Cinema Therapy, I was a mess. Unemployed, severely depressed, immensely unhealthy both physically and mentally. That line resulted in a change of mentality. I avoided going the extra mile to get a new job, was just applying with a resume and nothing else. I never went to the gym because I didn't have the energy. I used to always say "I'm not going to do X, it hurts too much" but that line from you made me realize just how much I was hurting, and worse, just how much of that pain was essentially self inflicted. This was a few years ago now, and since then, I've lost 80kg, I've found employment, I'm getting out in the world, regularly going to my local live music venues, and as of last week, I sang karaoke for the first time, something that used to give me anxiety attacks just thinking about...
