My name is Linda, but most know me as Appel from Studio Appeltjesgroen. I’m an illustrator from the Netherlands with a big love for frogs. After a successful crowdfunding during Pintopia 2025 and a solo crowdfunding in August, I am now returning with a Floris the Frog focused enamel pin project! Floris the Frog is a original frog character of mine which I hope you love just as much as regular frogs and other amphibians ✨
For this campaign the goal is to fund 7 hard enamel pin! Each pin will be roughly 3-5 cm (around 1,5-2"), on the back there will be a backstamp with 'Appeltjesgroen' and two pin posts with rubber clutches. The zinc alloy plating colours will vary between gold and black nickel depending on the frog.
Each pin will be unlocked at a specific funding goal which you can see below. Leftover pins (and possible future restocks) will be available in my online shop and on conventions I attend for €15 each. You get the best deal by backing this project and getting a couple of pins in one pledge. Let's see the costumes of Floris the Frog that'll be hopefully unlocked!

Crowdfunding rewards will be shipped from the Netherlands. We ship to other EU countries as well as outside of the EU, United States, Canada and the rest of the world!
Shipping and tariff costs will be collected when the project has been concluded and all surveys have been filled in. Careful estimate is around March 2026 for now.
The 'Froggoween' campaign will for 2 weeks from 21st of October till 1st of November. After the campaign has concluded and successfully funded, surveys are sent out. These surveys allow you to specify which of the unlocked enamel pins you want to receive. (You can also add any possible extra add-ons you might want during this survey.) After two weeks the campaign funds will become available to me and I will place the enamel pin order for all to be made. The rest of the timeline is an estimation with buffers. The plan is to have everything shipped out during or before April 2026.

My name is Linda but I’m known online as Appel from Appeltjesgroen. I’m a Dutch illustrator and product designer with a love for frogs, birds, books and games. Ever since being a young kid I’ve been bringing frogs back to show my parents. I’ve been using frogs are my inspiration for all that I make and then turn into products, stationery and artwork.
Since 2016 I’ve been working as Studio Appeltjesgroen and I attend conventions in the Netherlands and Germany. Where I sell the froggy stationery I designed with Floris the Frog on it. I started making merchandise to fill up the gap of not finding frog stationery and merch. Stickers, sticker sheets, washi tape, wood pins and back in 2018 I also made a few enamel pins. In 2024 I made more stationery and added frog socks to my shop.

The initial goal of €500 will help fund the production costs of the Froggoween enamel pins. Not just the production costs but also the shipping costs and shipping supplies needed to get the pins to your home safely. After the initial goal has been met the goal moves up to the next possible enamel pin design we could unlock with your support. This keeps going until the end of the campaign time, which is 1st of November.
With Backerkit’s ‘pledge now, pay later’ system, you can adjust your pledge to upgrade, downgrade, or even cancel before the end of the campaign. Pledging can only be done by use of a credit card. As Backerkit is an all-or-nothing platform, if the initial goal is not met, we will not have the funds to make these pins. You will only be charged if the campaign reaches the initial goal.
During the first 48 hours, you can pledge for Early Frog pledge level and receive an exclusive Early Frog sticker.
Note: if you cancel your Early Frog pledge, you won’t be able to re-pledge for Early Frog again after the first 48 hours.
Returning Frogs will receive an exclusive returning frog sticker when backing this project.
