The Eye of God is the first adventure in the new Apocalyptic Adventure! product line for MCC RPG (from Explore Dungeons). Designed to easily transition your players from Dungeon Crawl Classics (DCC) RPG to Mutant Crawl Classics (MCC) RPG.
Welcome to The Eye of God, the first adventure in the Apocalyptic Adventure! line from Explore Dungeons, creators of the Heroic Adventure! line of DCC and 5e adventures. You can find these and our other currently available products in the add-ons section.
Apocalyptic Adventure #1 - The Eye of God is a 2nd level DCC RPG to MCC RPG crossover adventure written by Scott Moore with cover & interior art by Leandro Seidler, and cartography by Brett Hess. Published by Explore Dungeons.
The adventure begins when you are approached by a powerful wizard who needs you to travel by a magic portal to broker a deal with a goblin tribe in a far region and retrieve a valuable artifact. Of course nothing is ever as simple as it seems. To complete the quest, the characters will travel to many regions and face many strange challenges. Along the way, they will discover things they may not be ready to know.
The characters don't know it at first, but they are actually on a generational starship, headed for their new home. Unfortunately, things have gone horribly wrong and much of the crew and civilian populace woke up with no memory of how they got there. Several generations have passed and society has reverted to a near medieval state.
What starts as a standard DCC RPG adventure evolves into an MCC RPG adventure as the characters (and players) learn more about their surroundings and eventually arrive at their destination. Of course, the planet itself is no longer the utopia they expected, having gone through some changes too, in the centuries since the ship started its journey.
Welcome to Terra AD (or another world of your choosing) where civilization has fallen and the world is in post-apocalyptic chaos. Pure humans are in scattered pockets, trying to survive as mutants and robots roam the remnants of a fallen civilization. Strange technology lies hidden in ruins. Danger is everywhere in this world gone mad.
This adventure can serve as the launching point into your own Mutant Crawl Classics campaign or as an introduction to the Apocalyptic Adventure! series from Explore Dungeons. This is the first in that series, with more in development, releasing later this year and early 2027.
